Republican party sympathize with Insurance corp., republican only interest for their benefit, get money from lobby, protect all insurance corp. , Republican never speak up against any compromise of insurance hike fee , however Democrat is stand up and action for middle class poor people, Republican only revolt the bill and create their own strategy for their bureaucrat and for Insurance corp. , Insurance make billion dollars and abuse their insurance policy, REPUBLICAN acting so poor and low.

Get a few figures. The Insurance companies have a 3% profit margin. This is pathetic and forces them to be efficient. You have a poor understanding of economics. The HMO's will either be obliterated (loss of jobs) or will become utilities (Cable, Electric Co.) and you will have 0 options. At least with the GOP option, you would be able to say, "Screw you, I'm going to XYZ insurance instead." Yeah the Reps. are for business and commerce. But they are also for the individual.

How will tort reform or allowing insurance companies to sell across state lines stop them from dropping people who get sick or discriminating against those with pre-existing conditions?

How is bringing the largest tax cut to Middle Class families going to ruin America? How is providing regulations to the Insurance Company restricting my freedoms?

Tort reform was one of several suggestionss in the GOP package. Selling across state lines was one of the other GOP suggestions. ANd if you think this is a tax cut? I'm sorry but you need to dig deeper. And he speaks for the minority because scientific polls show a MAJORITY of Americans see this for what it is. A smoke screen for govt. control of 48% of our economy.

It is sad to see how the republican leadership still has no proposal how to make it better. All they can do is say that it what the democrats are doing is wrong. I would love to hear a proposal to has the same impact this new law has on the life of the majority of people from republicans. I am republican but lately I think this party is doing shameful politics and I am ashamed for them. There hasn't done a single constructive thing since Bush left office and that is a scary statement.

@flobrew There was no real proposal! They had some ideas on how to get the cost down for those of us who have insurance. Nothing to get all these people insured that don't have insurance. Also I agree, it is wrong to argue that this new plan will be cheaper for  everyone of us. It will be cheaper for the country. It moves the balance back in favor of the middle class compared to the rich. As for Republican, you are right. I am not Republican ANYMORE!

(What we HAVE for people w/o insurance.) The bill will only raise costs and is already negatively effecting unemployment. You never were a GOP supporter, you just want to muddy the water.
