You should be able to spend between $250 - $350 and get something that will be technical and protective for the track, while being comfortable enough for everyday riding. The more tech the boot, the more it will cost and usually the less comfortable it will be for just cruising around casually or walking off the bike. No brainers here are Sidi Cobra's, Sidi Vertigo's, Alpinestars SM-X 5 or SM-X Plus.

@ArmoredSaint848 Shin protection, a toe slider and ankle reinforcement are my minimum for the track. It's very much an investment in safety.
