Only the symbols on each of the buttons are lit up which means no blinding glare while you are gaming or night typing and has 3 different levels of lighting. I have one and would never part with it.

yea, my keyboard whit blue lighting (doesn't get hot) costed me 30$. Its slim, has many extra buttons on and u can choose urself to turn on or off the light. 100$ my balls man

One thing I discovered is the keyboard has a learning curve since the keys are closer together than your 'run of the mill' keyboard, so you're going to have to bring your hands a bit closer together in order to use it. They're a bit difficult to come by. I ended up buying 3 of them on eBay, I managed to pay less than $40 for each. The luminescence factor is a little subdued. Still and all, its a good product, but I wouldn't say its worth the $100 list price.
