  • Personally, I would have restored that 96 ish Impala SS in the background...but going against the grain on fixing cars instead of simply trashing them, congrats!!!!!!!!!

  • News flash: When someone buys a car, normal people like me...we don't care about the value. All I need is a A --> B car that runs and drives. I don't care about re-selling it, or what that worthless piece of garbage "KBB" says it is worth. If it makes me happy, then what's the harm in that? Here in Indiana, you can drive any car with any amount of damage you want, so long as it has certain things. Mirriors, at least one taillight or headlight, windshield, seatbelts...doors are optional.

  • Why is the V6 Red when it's an automatic? Plus who in the fuck would buy a car with such history..

  • @Latincitizen

People that can't afford a new car, you dipstick. I would have bought and driven that car just as it was with no repair.

  • @SeberHusky lol right then I rather take the bus than drive a car this messed up even if restored. Anyways you lose at the end because any dealer will give you $500 for that thing. I had one 2003 EX-V6 HFP Coupe with 6 speed manual and 200,00km on it and still got $7000 for it which you will never get for a salvage title.

  • @Latincitizen

You're still an idiot. You assume that I am buying the car to re-sell. DERP

  • @SeberHusky YES IT WAS WHAT IM ASSUMING! YES YES YES

  • WOW! its amazing! fantastic job! i suscribed to you hopefully to see more things like this!

I wish i had a mechanical ability like yourself

  • I like seeing people do projects on cars that can be easily fixed instead of just sitting there at a junkyard being torn apart when it can be driven

  • I know here in Ontario Canada, a car with a salvage title, the licenced collision shop would have to do structual inspecton, I think you have to have at least 4 photos of the area where the damage was, 4 wheel alignment. There might be something else I'm forgetting, oh and safety inspection along with emission testing, then on the ownership it'll say rebuilt title

  • your a very talented mechanic, keep up the good work

  • Nice job on the rebuild. I wish I was that good. Don't worry there will always be someone to give you crap because they are not as good as you. Keep up the good work!!!!!

  • Nice job on the rebuild. I wish I could do it that well. Don't worry, its always going to be someone to give you crap because they are not as good. keep up the good work!!

  • If you have a front collision in that car you are going to die. What idiot would drive this car?

  • @JoSigurd92

Me. You're the only idiot around here.

  • nice rebuild very happy to see that someone will take the time and put the quality into rebuilding a good Honda i had a 4 door v6 this vid makes me miss it even more now that its gone

  • wow Im want do it

  • how much do totaled cars cost? and where can i buy one?

  • @moiseswin

Anywhere from a couple hundred, to a couple thousand. Depends on where you buy it from, and what the car is. You get a Ferrari, you'll pay an arm and a leg. You get a Ford F-150, and you can buy a few of them for a song.

  • lower it

  • Nice, its good to see the car getting a second chance

  • great restoration...especially for a honda...those cars are rock-solid

  • good job!

  • no idea about how much it could usually cost to get those wracked cars, anyone?

  • The only problem is......it now has a salvage title. Frame damage. I bet you are looking at a book value, thinking you got an accord 2 door at a good price. It's worth half of book. No dealer would ever take it on trade, and only a fool would buy it from you. Been a dealer for 45 years. The first thing we do when appraising a trade is scan the barcode and run a carfax. Enjoy the car. you still have it and will for a long time.

  • @doug5790 What you said applies to higher end vehicles with R title. Plenty of people will buy this from a private seller for $2-2.5k under book value. This car was sold couple months after the restoration and i made good money on it same with 5 other reconstructed cars that followed this accord. If its done right and new genuine parts are used after checking with buyers mechanic people dont have a problem paying a little less for a good car with R title that they plan to keep for a long time.

  • @arbachu Maybe you will understand doug's command better after watching this one right here: watch?v=yjxM9chAe1k

To put it simple, the cars you restore are a death trap to people who crash it

  • @arbachu exactly, looks awesome. who cares if its been wrecked and repaired. i bet alot of people are driving cars right now that dont even know they've been wrecked

  • @arbachu great job. and if its done right... what the hell is the difference anyways.. it all has to be built at some point... lol

  • @arbachu i doubt it. salvaged title means it was or is "fucked up." Only a retard would by from you.

  • @arbachu yeah and how many of them actually knew it was a salvage title? 2?

  • @arbachu Ignore doug he just a hater! You did a wonderful job! This look like it rolled off the assebly line and into ur drive way :]

  • @arbachu; It really depends upon where you're from. In LA, most of the Armenians driving expensive cars bought them with R titles and did half-assed jobs restoring them, so you'll see what was an $80k Benz or a $40k Infiniti with primer on them and cheap aftermarket front & rear ends, still with massive dents in the sides, etc...

In Chicago it was a different story, you'd rarely see anything like that.

This isn't a slight on Armenians, just ask anyone here and they'll say the same.

  • @doug5790 As long as the car is fixed correctly, who cares about the salvage title? Anyone buying this car knows it's value is far below retail and as long as he is selling it privately and discloses it...what's the issue? It's a Honda! Run it to 300K!

  • WOW!!! That is crazy, you did an amazing job looks great!

  • fantastique restauration ; bravo !

    fallait oser !

    good job !!!!

  • looks like he got a ticket for the tinted windows

  • How are the road manners, though? Vibrations, shakes? How about at higher speeds (100+ mph)? The easy part is fixing the non-intregal stuff. It is much harder if you have structural issues to fix! So THAT is what you have to watch out for.

  • Nice!

  • nice .

  • show me the carfax!

  • 2:03 LOL at the Harbor Freight Hydraulic Jack.

  • In the process of "restoring" you should have done an auto/ manual swap

  • i remember when i worked in iaa great times

  • wow i only do this every day. and they usually fuck up the bottoms of the car when they use the forks like that to pick them up 50% of the time the exhaust is bent to fuck. thats why you get ones with rear-end damage easier to fix and they still drive

  • Nice Job in Restoring it... How much Money was spent in Restoring the Car ?

  • nice fix!

  • yea great job, but i prefer e36.

    any how looks realy nice

  • @2:48, can you please tell me where you bought that grille? It's sick and I'd like to buy that for my accord. Thanks!

  • why did u took da tint off???

  • Very nice work! I wish more people were as ambitious about breathing new life into a car like you did.

  • After all the shit you had to do to it to fix it up.. why the hell didn't you change it to a manual!? auto's are ftl :<

  • beautiful car respect

  • Looks great! It has a salvage title now right?

  • yeah, there are ways to clear it though, but i got the car dirt cheap with only 8k miles on it so im ok with the r title lol

  • yeah thats a steal then!

  • @arbachu how would you 'clear' a salvage title?

  • @arbachu for how much?

  • @arbachu How much did you spend???

  • @arbachu

How long will it take to clear the title?

  • @xScHwInNBMXx down here in bama it only cost $150 if you have a proper licenses to get a salvage vehicle inspected and changed to a rebuilt title so you can drive it legally on the road.

  • Thank you guys, i appreciate the comments.

  • @arbachu i love your car now how it looks

  • Nice Job !! I think its cool when people fix up the wrecked cars instead of just scraping them or crushing them Nice work!

  • 5/5
