Nha trang is ok but there are way to many thieves there,there is no relaxing at all,the locals do not leave you alone.other than that it's wel worth doing the tourist things at a nice price.beach is also shit,unless you want to get robbed.
National Geographic Magazine might be right. They have built too many hotels on the beach and destroyed ta natural bauty of Nah Trang. Same thing is happening also in other places of Vietnam. Communist government has no sense of beauty or harmony. They just want to build big buildings and show they modern attitude. But it´s a huge mistake amd unfortunately destroys all the natural beauty of Vietnam.

I just back at work in Saigon today after Tet holidays (Vietnamese traditional new year days) in my hometown Nhatrang, I do love it, there you can take a walk in the sands, lay down and enjoy the blue-white clouds over skyline and the islands and hear the sound of waves....relax!

Yeah, Nah Trang seems to be a lost place. Next November I shall travel instead in Vietnam to Hanoi, Halong Bay and Hue.
