@MrFreeStufff You shouldn't stand a computer up on carpet. Even with dust filters, your fans will pick up tons of dust from the carpet. You should put it on a solid surface like a desk or some tiles if you want it on the floor still.

You should invest in dust filters for your chassis.

I dont get 2 things:

1: to all that power and u bought a normal HDD drive? If u wanted the unit to fly u would have gone 80-200GB SSD for the OS and aps and something like 1-2TB storage

2: CPU fan orientation. Antec gave their best to implement an airflow that would get all the heat out of the case, mainly through the 200mm fan on top. Placing the CPU cooler with the airflow towards the top fan ( CPU cooler fan placed vertically ) would have made more sense..

No issues, I really like it because I can see iTunes while I'm playing a game. You just need a graphics card that supports two monitors.

Thanks, and yes the EVGA X58 LE is a great board. I'm very happy with it as it is reliable, full featured and overclocks well.

The total cost of the build is hard to determine especially with ever changing prices of hardware but my estimate is ~$1600 for the computer itself and well over $2500 including monitors and peripherals.

False, at the time I bought this processor most i7s were C0 stepping. The D0 was a brand new batch, which was proven better for overclocking. Getting a D0 at the time was highly unlikely, however I bought this from TJHarlow, so it was guaranteed to be D0.

Most all new i7s will be D0 now, it would be usual to be sent one, but there's no telling for sure.

Depends on what company you're buying from, but usually no. If you're buying it from a brick and mortar store ask to see the box before you buy it and you can look at the model number.

Not guarenteed, but I would say you have about a 98% chance of getting D0, also, there's a new, faster "batch" of 920s out (B) that you'll probably get. And that new batch B D0 stepping is the best for overclocking yet.

Theoridically, it should help as it blows cool air into your gpu. Most gpus are buildt to blow air out the back of the case but the new radeon 5000 don't. Depends which Video card your using.

Really, any GPU that has ventilated PCI slots aren't meant to have intake fans blown on them right there.

Well, note the air filter, Antec intended it to be an intake. It depends on what you graphics card's cooling is like. For me, it should be an intake because my GTX285 intakes from right next to the fan, and then exhausts out the back of the case. However, TJHarlow did a test with the 1200 order of coolness went: out>no fan>intake... this shows that its just different for every system.

Yes, you're correct the retail version of Win 7 releases on Oct. 22nd. However, through one of two online programs some people already have the full version. The one that I have in this video is "Release Client" and though it is a full version, starting March 2010 there will be bi-hourly shutdowns until I pay to activate it.
