Iyt is a well known fact that including Japan and Germany and China have a total of 2.3 billion cars that have not been sold or are in pooling areas. Heard on the radio just the other day immigration figure for the USA is around 100,000 people per month. Not to say that we don't have our problems with moving new cars but, that's a lot of new vehicles needed each month. West coast imports from Japan heavily and, East coast from Europe. I have noticed dealers all over the country with their lots are jammed, waiting for things to turn around.

a big reason that new cars doesn't sell as much now isn't only of recession, alot of people choose to buy used cars instead of spending thousands on new cars, because why buy a new car when you can get a safe and relatively cheap car to run for alot less?.

Sorry but those pictures are misleading. The picture from Newark is Port Newark, NJ. Those cars are not piling up. Port Newark is where the transport ships come in loaded with cars. The cars are quickly unloaded and the ship sent on it's way. Those cars are quickly put on rail cars and shipped throughout the US. They don't ship cars that the dealers did not order and can not sell. I have seen that parking lot almost empty after the cars are sent on their way.
Most of those cars are waiting for service to be done there. That's what my brother does. His company sends him all over the world to repair and update computers of vehicle already shipped and nearly ready for delivery.

Its not new car manufactures its our governments. The Gov buys these cars from people with programs like cash for clunkers. Its done in part to get them out of the market so we have to go buy cars from dealers at inflated prices.

The big car companies have us so snowed on their new car prices that the cost of these cars are put into the price of the newer cars. If they gave us these cars at rock bottom prices, people would wait till these became available. Shame on these car manufacturers. I pray you never get a bailout or subsidy from the government again. I would even be happy if these went to third world countries, military families or our elders over the age of 62 without a job.

More than anything, this is a sign of a new depression. Its obvious that we won't have real economic recovery until after major industries crash, old stock gets bought up, and demand resumes.
This will also push back the use of electric cars until this batch of gas cars is consumed.

water. its basically just a simple and very effective pump
with the ability to power itself. so after "the gas is gone"
or we get sick of our local dealer pyramid we will move onto

a big reason that new cars doesn't sell as much now isn't only of recession, alot of people choose to buy used cars instead of spending thousands on new cars, because why buy a new car when you can get a safe and relatively cheap car to run for alot less?.

@Zao969 Yes from your local dealers, when they sell their cars they get new ones from the stocks, but no one buys new cars so they pile up. Kind of like Trabant after the wall came down. If this continues they will have to sell them at lower prices in order to survive.

Sorry but those pictures are misleading. The picture from Newark is Port Newark, NJ. Those cars are not piling up. Port Newark is where the transport ships come in loaded with cars. The cars are quickly unloaded and the ship sent on it's way. Those cars are quickly put on rail cars and shipped throughout the US. They don't ship cars that the dealers did not order and can not sell. I have seen that parking lot almost empty after the cars are sent on their way.

Most of those cars are waiting for service to be done there. That's what my brother does. His company sends him all over the world to repair and update computers of vehicle already shipped and nearly ready for delivery.

Makes no sense! They have a shit load of cars they cannot sell, so they build more, are they off their rockers. If you have a backlog, shut down the plant for awhile, it would save them money in the long run, as they would not have to pay the oversalaried union workers for awhile. Win! Win!
