I had no problems with it. Installed->Started->Played

But it can crash now and then.

Which windows are you using?

@themaelstrommephisto I got that error when I let it run the test. I told it to install without running the test and it gave me a few more error messages but it did install and works fine.

When I installed I got that error if i let it run the comparability test. When I didn't let it run the test it gave me a couple other error message but it installed and the game works great.

I got it to work on Vista 64, you have to manually install it though which might be too tough for most people to do.

how are the controls?

The controls are how you will bind them ^^

Very simple really, It has 10 buttons and 4 of them are ofcourse the directional keys.

But you can also play it with a joypad. I did that once with a simple USB joypad but I prefer Keyboard :)

Well I think they are pretty solid and easy to use. cant think of any big problems with them.

You can only test it out yourself really, look for the demo of the game and convince yourself ;)

this game was so badass...I remember having a DEMO of this when I was a kid, and I could never find or buy the full game back then...in our area they just didnt have any rare pc games. This is a blast to watch, I love the good old classic gaming days~ they really tried hard to get your attention, nowadays everything is so flashy its like..."yah, who gives a shit"

Yeah most of the games of today I am not even interested in playing any of those. There are very few and rare exceptions where you can say it is a good game.

In the past there were so many games I wanted to buy that I could not decide which to buy first. That kinda speaks for itself.

Also, why do game developers think that you cant do any adventures, jump&runs or shoot em ups today? And why has every adventure to be in 3D instead of the old fashioned funny comic look of classic adventures?

Best bet is probably amazon/ebay.

Or search in google for hunter hunted abandonware or something. Maybe some site has it available for download but I would try a demo first ;)

And if it runs on vista, I dont know I use WinXP and have no problems. It crashed sometimes but since I used windows compatibility mode the game doesnt seem to crash anymore.
