This is excellent. Some of his earlier recordings were even better and there is always the 1944 Jussi Bjorling 'slow version' to put everyone in the place , but Luciano was not only a great talent but also a great promoter of serious music and opera. Thank you sir!

If Mark Vincent began singing at age 17 may not sing an opera ever. MR. Luciano Pavarotti was not allowed to sing opera's piece before 19 years because the teachers-masters had seen his potential at 9 yo and wanted to protect his tone of voice to complete development. The mouth of Maestro Pavarotti was plugged up to 19 years. The opera is not easy music and now if you hurry, you often do not arrive. Your voice could be damaged for ever... Sorry for my bad english ;)
i've went the tree tenors concert when I was in elementary school...... But, I slept through the performance.... Now I feeling really sad that I will never hear his voice again by live......
On his best day, I'm sorry, even though this was his "signature piece", Luciano Pavarotti, arguably the greatest tenor of his time, couldn't touch Jussi Bjorling's rendition of this aria...I'm just sayin"
*This is no hating BTW* but i always laugh hard when i see his facial expression at the end of the song,it seems like he is having an orgasm or ejaculating xD. But i can't blame him... best of the best forever and ever and ever!!...
Mark Vincent (no offense) makes a very good effort but it sounds like he's gagging on his sound. Now he's still young and there's plenty of room for improvement. rest in peace Pavarotti.
Two people disliked this. Youtube needs to just take off the fucking dislike box from this GIANT'S videos. It's just too pathetic for there to be a dislike here. I accept the fact that the world is full of mental morons, but don't let them touch this perfection. Let them go fuck around with Jonas Brothers shit.
If you can't understand that a 13 year old kid would possibly not like Pavarotti you really lack some sense of theory of mind. And so what if people dont like it? How boring would this world be if everything was the same. Clueless prick
I know a lot of people are hooked on people like Vincent, Paul Potts and Neal Boyd. They are good and I think they will go down in history at some point as some of the best opera singers to come of current times. But yes, Even I agree no one will ever truly top him.
@XJadynX You're kind of an idiot if you think any of those three will be remembered as great opera singers. The way they sing their voices will be burnt out in less than 5 years, you have to have an actual OPERA career before you can be considered one of the greatest opera singers of a certain age. Get back to me when any one of those clowns actually performs in an opera production. God the ignorance....
@FoggyRoad81 Ignorance my " Friend " is someone who talks like an authority on something Only to come off looking like a pompous fool who gets easily offended at a simple statement of Opinion. As for burnt out. Paul and Neil have been singing since they were children. Vincent sings every day. Paul has also been singing in many concert Halls on what many people would call a budding career, go ahead look it up. OR you can just go croak... Froggy.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@XJadynX Concert halls are fine for a classically trained singer. And perhaps Potts can claim to be a classically trained singer. But an "opera" singer, must sing operatic roles. And the reason is that singing an entire opera requires MUCH stronger overall technique, much higher musical acumen. You must make every moment beautiful, you must have an idea about every phrase and you must maintain a character for hours at a time. Paul Potts and this new ilk has no chance of doing any of that.
no one will ever beat this man and ill say it again nooooooo one will ever beat this man in opear he was the best and he is still the best u fags cant compare this guy to paul potts who is paul compared to this man no way RIP PAVAROTTI SING FOR THE ANGLES NOW
Mr or Ms FLAR28: I know quite a bit about opera thank you very much. You have the right to your opinion as I do. I think Mark Vincent has the POTENTIAL to be the next Pavarotti, if he does things the proper way. He has the instrument-he has to be taught to develop and use it properly. If he does that, he can be great! It is in him, I can see that, Your training huh? good luck and if you train hard you may be as good some day as well.
that one kicks arse i like all of them ive looked up... you lot should check out neil e boyd from americas got talent he sings it well aswell.. luv the song
Luciano brings tears to my eyes when he sang, almost no matter what it was. It was his voice that got me to even listen to opera. Now I hear other singers from other eras and see what I have been missing. Luciano is gone now--enter Mark Vincent. It is astounding that he is 15 or 16 with the voice that rich and developed. No, he is not yet a challenge to Pavarotti, HOW can he be at so young an age, with no real seasoning. But I wonder--did Luciano (or Placido) sing as well when he was 15?
I agree wholeheartedly, Maestro Pavarotti will always be #1 in Opera, no quetion. I am his BIGGEST FAN., And I had the pleasure and honor of telling Mastro Pavarotti to his face, how I felt -which was something I will NEVER forget. Now, Mark Vincent I truely believe, has the potential to be Pavarotti reborn!! That's how good I think he is!!!
lol no offence i also like the vicents boy and hope he does well, but he isnt even nearly near pavarrotis league, its like comparing the jonas brothers to the beatles, or in a sport metaphor wayne rooney with pele
just think how great mark vincent will be when he is over 30, his voice is great now, when his voice matures in the next 10/15 yrs, he will be fantastic
He was the best my friend.... No one will ever sing this piece like he did... He really knew how to feel music.... I think his expressions where as touching as his singing

@scodellar Mark Vincent its an Australian opera singer. He's like 17-18 years old. He won Australia's Got Talent on 2009.

@Marchingegno3006 I respect your opinion, and your English it's not bad.
Mark Vincent it's a pop opera singer right now, for the reasons you said, to try and protect his voice.
He admires Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli, but he aspires to be as good as Anthony Warlow.
