"Such Willful ignorance, You prolong Cocoon's suffering and to what end? refusing me but condemns another to face your Focus tomorrow, If you truly seek salvation YOU WILL OBEY!"
such an epic soundtrack! absolutely love it!!! FF13 definitely has the best OSTs.... they are all well composed and diverse... and the quality is just AWESOME! ****___****
The problem with Dysley/Bartendelus is that he doesn't look like the main vilain of the game... he just look like a bad guy but they never make you feel like he's your main ennemy
A L'cie? (laughing) You mean me. (laughing) Oh child, perish the tought.
I am more than that! (TRANSFORMS) I am Fal'cie. My name is Barthandelus.
Voice of the Sanctum, and the lord-sovereign of the Cocoon Fal'cie. Your kind
feared the darkness, so we gave you light. You begged us foe the Purge, and did it not come to pass. Now you spurn our counsil. You must learn your place!
FF main antagonist gems Kefka Sephiroth (not overrated he just has a lot of fans) Kuja Ultimecia Chaos Emperor Palamecia Golbez Zemus/Zeromus Dysley/Barthandelus Vain Solidor ExDeath I think that's it?
@YonKitoTaoshibe actually, the Fal'Cie planned to bring Cocoon crashing down, KILLING THEMSELVES IN THE PROCESS, just for a chance that the Maker would come back and remake the world
they knew they wouldn't survive the process anyway
@VulcanSpartan actually, the Fal'Cie planned to bring Cocoon crashing down, KILLING THEMSELVES IN THE PROCESS, just for a chance that the Maker would come back and remake the world

This guy is such a pain to fight >.< I only fought him for the first time.I never finished the game so im starting over and I fear the second fight :,(
@omegaxis2 I thought he got a bit easier as the game progressed, even though I would say that was mostly because I started to understand the game more, and the fact I didn't even try to upgrade any of my weapons until I fought him.......

He wasn't that hard either time if u ask me beat him without dying both times but I love the laugh he does and that trandoshian smile or whatever it's called move freakin epic
If super pope returns it would be cool to see in some neo form like the next stage or something. and when he talks he talks as barthandelus since minerva is always fused with him. instead of thanatosian laughter it would be thanatosion insanity and instead of being blue it would charge up like a cero obscuras from bleach
Dysley's the most intense and intelligent villian ever created, the dialogue he spoke was well written,S.Scott Bullock's voice made dysley very believable and him a legend!.
Oh,it won't be fal'cie who destroy her.
Or perhaps i'll feign the howling of pulsian wolves and let the fear-added sheep slaughter themselves first.
Either way,the end is at hand.(epic laugh)
But what of yourselves? Will you enjoy the festivities beside me?
or perhaps,GREET THE END HERE,IN THE LAND WHERE IT ALL BEGAN?!.
@winterscott1991 i think you will see more of dysley in FFXIII-2,because vanille and fang went against their focus, they saved cocoon instead of destroying it,this action could have revived dysley, alot of people want a sequel, including myself,i think square-enix will do it!
@dreamyblueangeleyes I agree that Dysley is definitely one of the high points of the game, the way he managed to keep his end goals and the fact that he was indeed a villain hidden for so long managed to make him a good villain. But I still say that Vayne Solidor from FFXII is better. Aside from Vayne though, yeah Dysley reigns supreme.
@DenarianLord Even though Dysley was a villian, I never hated him at all, everytime he made his presence felt to the characters, I listened to every single last word he said, the voice actor did a good job with his dialogue throughout the game. Dysley was in control for most of the story, only at the very end did Fang and Vanille prevent what Dysley wanted from the very beginning.
im so glad i didnt die during the fight

@YonKitoTaoshibe And thus, plot hole. Both devs and Fal'cie didn't think that far.

Y'know, I'm sure Barthandelus was just trying to fool the l'Cie into thinking their Focus was to obliterate Cocoon.

@omegaxis2
The second fight is easier, you only have to be quick.
The battle against the Fal cie dahaka (which you have to fight before him) is way harder.

Can your pope turn into a multi-headed beast that shoots lasers?
i dont think so.
whenever he does, does he always get a badass music theme?
i dont think so.
