Oh I sooo remember this show.. First song of the night, took two steps into the pit & was greeted by a large swinging backfist to the face and got aquatinted with that lovely beer soaked floor... Good times!! MANY great memories... The Stone, Rock On Broadway, Old Waldorf, The Farm, The Mab, SF 'was' once an incredible place for music.. WTF ever happened? :) geez...
godamn, i guarantee you no other metal band including metallica, who was lame compared to this...... had any crowd like this. look at the rancid and evil drooling look to the audience...... they have been overcome by satan here
I was at this show as well! (i can't find myself in the crowd though) This show was the second of two nights worth. Unfortunately, i tried to stage dive on the last song, Show No Mercy i think, i took two steps and was caught and violently thrown off stage by a 300 lb. security guard/ stage hand! Otherwise, what a fuckin' show!
i love how theyre trying to push the kid on stage at the end but the security guards are pushing back and its like a tug of war for a couple seconds hahahahahha
I saw Slayer twice in on the reign in blood tour. EXCELLENT show, agora ballrom W.Hartford CT> a club about the size of this, LOTS of security beating on fans BUT it did not matter, crowd was going SICK!!GREAT TIME! Personally I think the Crowd got more involved because this was the first wave of this type of music and to see it live it was aoverwhelming experience. With SO many bands in the past 20+ years, I think todays crowds are a bit jaded by it all. Who Knows I could be wrong......
people are always like "the crowds are not as good as they used to be" but the fact is security guards are fuckin strict as shit in most venues and even if you fight back strangers wont back you up anyway, it sucks but this is just my experience I'm always down to go beserk at a metal show (doesnt mean startin fights either)..
What did you mean, man? Show No Mercy is also a killer record, not as brutal as Reign In Blood, in my opinion, but also awesome. Have you listened to "Fight 'Till Death"?
BEST FUCKING BAND EVER!!!
SLAYER IS A FUCKING RELIGION..PERIOD

They sound completely different, listen to Christ Illusion.
The lyrical content is TOTALLY different, Kerry King can't solo now either.
