Anyone can act like a badass on camera, maybe not all could do a backflip as seen in this video though or kick as fast. I personally would prefer to live until Im 100 than burn out, OD and die at 32 years old. The one opponent Bruce Lee couldnt defeat was his own ego, and it ended up killing him.

Bruce Lee wasnt even fortunate enough to enjoy the life he did have, otherwise he wouldnt have needed the hash to "unwind" Martial arts are for self defence. It kind of defeats the purpose of training in the art of self defence if it ends up killing you. In that respect Bruce Lee has failed.

Regardless of your God-like view of the man, he was still an adulterer and a drug user. He could have competed regularly in tournements but he chose show business instead for the attention.
