American Dad! was originally meant to be Family Guy's replacement due to its cancellation, but of course DVD sales result in Family Guy returning with tons of changes due to the show's old writers already working on American Dad. Its preposterous i tell you. This war has no meaning. Though Family Guy's 1999-2003 episodes are better than American Dad! by far due to how funny they were. American Dad won for episodes from 2005-present.
