This is good but definitely NOT the original. Check Live at Ronnie Scott's for some serious burning on this tune. I love the strat's solo as well. The whole song is actually slower than the original, but the feel is spot on!
Great cover of the song. Maybe you guys broke into the whole soloing thing a bit early the whole great thing about Scatterbrain is the way it develops.

thumbsup for trying such a difficult tune. the drummer is definately struggling bad. Sounded like he was concentrating to much on being jazzy, and not concentrating enough on tempo. Sometimes less is more. Once again nice effort though on such a tough tune...keep up the good work
Strat tone sounds superior here

Anyone notice that most Berklee students who have made it somewhat mainstream seem to use PRS?
Joshmv14 1 year ago
@Joshmv14 Like John Mayer and Tomo Ono?

@markmende
Nooo.. John mayer uses a strat and to be honest I haven't heard tomo ono and am just checking up on that..
But most teachers and all :)
A PRS a thing of beauty though ;)

Whoa..awesome job...what the hell time is this song in?
JesuitFarmer 1 year ago
@JesuitFarmer the riff is in 9/8 broken into 4 and 5, and then for the solos they break down into a 4/4 groove.

Hey Nick:
It's amazing how you progressed. All of you sound great. Now get your ass on the concert stage with your classical guitar repertoire.
