I was 17 when the finale aired, but I still cried. For a cartoon, this series had some really good plot-lines and characters you could grow attached to.

At the end, it was discovered that the interviewer was Bendecit Uno aka Father & he supposedly gave the grown-up Sector V their memories back so he could finally gain revenge on nephew Nigel (Numbah 1). But at the end, it was all a ruse planted by Sector V, for they were never de-commissioned as they let Father believe & Nigel had returned victorious from the Galactic KND by that point, forcing Father to search for him for all eternity.

i was in knd and went to moon base multiple occasions, ended my career leading my tree house and then being voted premier. Then I turned 13 and was de-commissioned. I don't remember anything specific anymore, but I know I did KND well. Long live KND!

Just going back in time for a minute.

This was almost (but not quite) as bad as 'Toy Story 3'. When I first saw this, I was sitting there thinking to myself, "...Really? Is this even real?" I couldn't believe how dramatic they suddenly made it. I actually felt depressed afterwards. And that's a terrible sign from what should be a pick-me-up children's television program.

It could be just me; I don't know. But as emotional as it was, I wasn't happy with it at all.

that's one of the things that actually made this cartoon good. It had a real and much deeper ending, and the ending had layers of meaning. I loved this cartoon! Brings back so many old memories jesus

Ha, this makes me realize just how long this show ran. I remember when the pilot aired with that whole voting thing... I remember sitting on the floor in front of the television, crossing my fingers because I really, really liked how KND went.

The only time my vote actually made a difference to me. A grand finale to a grand show.
