  • Superb video mate…I'm going to order one of these off the back of your review

  • Hi, what is video recording like with this camera? Someone told me you hear a clicking noise when you change aperture during recording. I'm looking for a silent lens for video. Thanks

  • hello please help.

im quite crazy now lol. i am planning to buy new lens and i already sell my kit lens (18-55mm)

PLease help me ASAP if you can. which is better for all around lens canon18-135mm, sigma 17-70mm or tamron 18-200mm. i shot portraits, street and nature.i got canon 450D please help :)

    duke

  • @acesofgambit it is better to spread lenses. get this sigma and the canon 55-250mm is!

  • @acesofgambit 17-70 is more practical for travel use. The wider the better for street use. However, if you're photographing wildlife then the 17-70mm may not cut it. You can always crop your picture but its not the same really. If you don't mind getting a separate long zoom lens like a 100-200mm you can get them really cheap.

  • @simon44 thanks a lot :) i just bought the lens and i am trying this more this weekend :) you have cool videos :)

  • Hi bro ~~ great video

want to ask : the f2.8 will stay until what focal range ??

is it going to constant stay at f2.8 at 17mm all the way ?

    Regards

  • Do you buy all of your equipment or are you sent them purely for the reviews?

  • thx good review.... one question though.... at which focal length it switches from f2.8 to f4.... ? I am interested in this lens too ...

  • @idontknowlo when its 17 its 2.8 and when its 70 its 4

  • When you get lens from Ebay, dont forget to check Back/Front Focus a little more because many time these lens are returned by people that found Back/Front focus later. Many sigma and tamron lenses have this problem in many of their copy.

  • would you honestly recommend this lens? because it seems to me like Sigma lacks good quality .. is it true?

  • Happy Christmas to you, to late to write to Santa have to buy it myself!

  • No offense, but why do you keep buying gear when it's obviously you know nothing about photography?

  • @alinthebest why is it so obvious i know nothing about photography ?

  • @MrThaibox123 hateers gonna hate

  • @alinthebest

  • I want you neon lion wallpaper

  • Sweet lens! Love your photography kit :)

  • Will that fit a 3100 ?

  • hey, what camera do you use to record (now) your videos?

  • Jared has some stiff competition mate, Great informative video!!!!!!

  • I have this lens! It is honestly great. So convenient, especially the focal length and f2.8.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

  • Nice, great review as usual buddy

  • MrThaibox123 Great review mate :), had this lens for a while and its never let me down xD cant believe you managed to find it less than £210 aha you have done well :"P

  • Wow! just wow! one beast of lens that is!

  • Great video. This looks like a really nice lens.

If you get a dslr it defenitly is the beginning of spending a lot of money on different lenses.

  • How coo is that ;) A lot of ppl go for the Sigma Lenses,A lot of ppl i have spoken to recommend them. Suppose it boils down to personal preference i guess. Look's like a great quality lense from what i can see in the video, The test shot's were very impressive, Looking forward to the feild testing on this one as i like shooting product shots when i can :) Fab Video Adam,Thanks.

  • new video at last nice

  • Looks really nice! Love the quality.

  • @TechieTeenGirl thank you very much

  • whats the song in the intro? :)

  • hey i have a question- it might seem stupid

how much zoom is 70mm or 17mm compared to the Zoom X number, for example I have a superzoom right now with 24x Zoom, how many mm would I need for an interchangable slr lens?

    thanks-"!

  • @hairybearz The way you work it out is how many times can a the smallest number into the biggest number, So 17-70 is 4.1x

On DSLR you tend not the get huge zoom ranges, as they tend to introduce things like barrel distortion and huge drops in light. For instance the P500 from nikon, half way through the zoom range your already down to f5.7. Bridge camera offer huge zooms but usually at the expense of image quality

  • @CitiesAndColours thanks very much for sharing your knowledge!

I guess I'll keep my 24x superzoom camera, and maybe eventually invest in an slr for closs range image quality.

Thanks again, its nice to have people like you answering questions and helping out!!

  • Great first look Adam! Are you using the sd90 for this?

  • @TheTechMundo hey dude yeh the sd90 to record, fantastic quality eh ?

  • @MrThaibox123 great quality! How much did you get it for?
