Man off topic but Hard Justice and Unforgiven were equally bad. Unforgiven didn't have a match over 2 stars. Hard Justice had the opening match that was good and every thing else was bad

Overall this year's Hard Justice was MUCH better. It was a "hardcore" PPV to me but it was fun to watch and worth the 30 I spent so no bitching from me

Creed vs. Petey - Another strong PPV opener for TNA.

Knockouts Tag - Really good. Not getting enough credit on the net.

LAX/BMI - I loved this match. Probably my fav tag title match from TNA this year.

Lethal/Dutt - Uh yeah. Good effort, terrible gimmick. Worst match on card.

Streetfight - Very entertaining & fun.

AJ/Angle - TNA MOTY for 2008 probably.

Joe/Booker - Solid match with a great twist at the end.

The Rappers sucked.

Really good show overall.

good review. I didn't enjoy the chain match either and I cannot believe such a match gimik has actualy been contested on PPV. On top of the fact that the storyline makes no sense whatsoever. I also didn't enjoy the booking of the main event as I felt Joe should have definately been the more aggresive. A Good ppv I feel really made by ANgle vs AJ. I hope Sting is used correctly with this upcoming "Story" TNA has never used him correctly. Weel some times in 06.

I'm really amazed at how good Kurt Angle and AJ Style's really are. They've been soooo good for just about the last 10 years you'd think they would have lost a step but it seems there just as good if not better than ever

usually i think u underrate tna but in this case ur overrating it a bit... The AJ ANGLE was good but everything else was average to slightly above average... The black tie and brawl or watever was the dumbest thing since the blindfold match between storm and harris. The tuxedos were pointless as the match ended in a way where the chain and the tuxedo were both useless.

This is the best I've seen Sting,AJ, and Kurt do in years! I'd almost give AJ vs Kurt a 5 star ratting! It was friggin great. Really fit the whole MMA/UFC feeling type of thing!

i think the reason tna does gimmick matches is because they're trying market one of the matches to the point where it draws on it own.

good examples would be hell in a cell, casket, and war games. those matches alone will draw a bigger crowd.

But every now and then they do something thats too silly like Blacktie Brawl & Chain or the Electrified Cage.

I totally agree about Taylor Wilde. There's nothing wrong with her being there, but she shouldn't have the championship. What annoys me is that TNA is selling her like a phenom or "second coming", like she's more talented than all the other girls. HJ08 was really good. AJ/Angle, LAX/Beer Money, & The Streetfight were all great matches, and the ending was very well done and a nice surprise.

I must say TNA gets alot of shit for storylines, gimmicks, booking issues (even from me) but I have bought (went to Victory Road) and I must say this is the 3rd good PPV TNA put on in a ROW. Now it won't beat RiE2 but it was fun anyways.

Good review Truthslayer. This years Hard Justice was a lot better than last years Hard Justice. During the Jay and Sonjay match, the crowd was chanting boring and fire Russo chants. The match between Jay and Sonjay could have been way better.

It was pretty dumb to have the Last Man Standing rules be Texas Death Match rules. If you are going to have a Last Man Standing match, do the standard rules.

The Joe/Booker T match ended in an extremely shitty way I thought.

AJ vs Angle was awful, or to be more precise, TNAs last man standing match rules are awful. Why do you need to get a pin or submission in order to start a 10 count? It doesn't make sense. As soon as a submission hold is put in place you'd might as well tap, as it does no damage. You only need to stand for the match to continue. Ruined the match for me, it was hard to be entertained when the pinfalls and submissions were going on.

A DDT finish? Weak IMO. The whole match was booked weak.

Yeah I hate that rule too it takes away the urgency of trying to get up. Why kick out of a pin attempt? You may aswell just let them get the pin and have 10 seconds to get your strength back.

Um no i'm not a WWE mark. I don't like or watch the WWE product aside from the big 4. If this was 'more of a texas death match' then it would have been booked as such. The DDT off the top rope wasn't an 'awsome spott' either. There weren't even any weapons in the match. If it's a no DQ match and AJ is supposed to be this fired up, he would have gotten weapons to smash Kurt. I'm guessing they done a light match because they didn't want to risk Kurt after the ladder injury.

Bad: Andrew Martin sucking, Black Reign killing Harris' career, Roode/Young Part 326, manner in which the ending to the main event was handled.

Good: Steiners vs. 3D, Storm vs. Rhino, XXX vs. MCMG vs. Lethal/Dutt, and surprisingly Kaz vs. Raven

I mean yeah it had its bad moments, but worst PPV in TNA history? I think that honor goes to either DX05, VR06, or AGA 07

Overall, a really fun PPV. The best mainstream product right now IMO, my kids love it too!!
