  • i went to this. thats cool. its on hear.

  • Why didn't he sing Born in the USA????

  • Cause that song is against the US politics, actually... Duh...

  • I don't think it's really relevant...

  • I went to this rally just because I like Springsteen!

8D I was wearing my McCain sweater.

  • build that house

  • pierdolenie o chopinie:/

  • I'm a Bruce's french fan. We are proud of all of you and we, in France, believe in a promised land... again... You did it ! at last !

  • Amen.

  • Hey...thanks Bruce! I feel a change coming.

Let's turn things around in this country and

find that "land of Hope and Dreams!!

All the Best! The Black River Band! Check us out @ iTunes > If u love Bruce U will Love our Band too!

  • When The Boss speaks, we all should listen.

  • I lived all my life in New York city. moved to San Antonio Tx last year...

you would never see anythng like this down here..

here its all about pro republican. And pro Iraq war

  • I spent 24 years in the Army...I first saw Bruce while stationed in Germany at Frankfurt Waldstadion, in 1985...80,000 germans packed that stadium and sang "this land is your land"..it was awesome...I saw him 3 more times in Germany..and this last tour in Seattle...he's the ultimate rocker..and I believe in his mesage..as Obama's...I was in Texas....and I never went back...I've lived around this world...met lots of different people...Bush/Mccain fear mongering and the right wing need to go!!!

  • Wow- I saw Bruce at Frankfurt for the first time also. I was stationed with 2AD Fwd in Garlstedt. Since then, I've seen Bruce about 35 times. Small world.

  • Yeah...that was a long time ago.I was statione in Aschaffenberg then..before the intitial drawdown...I saw Bruce on the Born in the USA tour...Tunnel of Love, Human Touch and The Rising in Germany...This time (Majic) was the first in the USA..so I've only seen him 5 times..but 5 awesome shows...glad you spent some time in Europe..it was great over there..and the army was great then too.

  • 24 years is a long time. I spent 2 in Germany, got out, went to the Reserves and went back as an officer through ROTC. I was 19, from Jersey and a huge Bruce fan. So I has a recreation specialist (civilian) book a bus and 45 crazy infantry buddies to see Bruce. We made our way to the front of the Stadium. My friends held me on their shoulders, holding an American flag, until Bruce pointed at us. Good times-

  • I was there, and live in Phila. and held hands with a bunch of people, Rep. Dem. and all races. Many of us had tears in our eyes about the possibility that we will show in person what we have written on paper at the birth of our nation. I had talks with a lot of people after the show, where we discussed how we had a variety of views, some lib. some conserv. All went to either party due to more views in that direction, but we all lean toward Obama for the sake of our country's future.

  • when i was there, and when i heard him speak, it brought tears to my eyes, when i watch this, it still brings tears to my eyes, to think that one of the greatest musician of all time would be able to say something like this, its overwhelming, even though im 13 and not old enough to vote, i still believe that barack will win and is going to win. that day is a day i will never ever forget. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!! OUR HOUSE WILL NEVER BE TORN DOWN!!!!

  • I guess he's another one of those "terrible" liberals that McCain, Fred Thompson, Rudi Guilliani, and many others on the opposite side are talking about. "Who is Bruce Stringsteen"? Well he is like Obama, a man that loves his country, and he has liberal views, but in their minds that means that he is not patriotic, not a "good" American. We need to turn the page on those "haters", and tell them to "love it or leave it".

  • I think this is amazing...not because I agree with Obama...or with Bruce's support of him.

What I think it amazing is that the IDEA of America is hard at work here. And it while I do not believe in the sincerity of the WORDS Obama has offered - I believe fully in the process of all of this. I think Bruce Springsteen is a fantastic asset to America...if for nothing else, than his ability to connect, inspire and touch people.

    Long live America.

May we all be better off soon.

  • It's as beautiful as a Frank Capra movie... When the good guy wins at the end...

  • Fantastic speech, well captured Deborama!

  • Very inspiring. Go Obama!

  • I think Bruce is great and I admire his bravado for speaking out..intelligently.

HOWEVER...I think he is being a little too idealistic. Barack advocated passing this 800 BILLION dollar boondoggle that bails out the investors and banks that played craps with the economy. That is NOT the way to take back America. I'm very disappointed in Obama for not speaking out against this insanity.

  • This was awesome I was there and it sent chills down mine spine, terriffic loved hearing the crowd chant "Yes We Can!"

  • Brilliant! - That's the Boss!!

    Viva New Jersey!

  • Wow, Bruce is speaking from the heart.

    Obama 08!

  • I'll think of you when I watch the election returns and make a toast to our new president, Barack Obama.

  • Thanks so much deborama19 for posting this!!! I stood there yesterday in my great city of Philadelphia and got the chills listening this. It actually gave me hope in such a grim time here in America. Thanks again!

  • Thanks Bruce for showing what it's like to really speak directly to the American public, the Joe Sixpack and Hockey/Soccer Moms.. Very inspiring thoughts...

    Go Obama...

  • This is gold, thank you Bruce! Obama for President!

  • thanks for all Bruce!

  • Beautiful, inspiring, thoughtful preface by Bruce: he placed Obama's campaign in a deep, rich historical context in a succinct, simple way that touched my heart.

  • One last for the edification and re-education of frogxx1's post below: Bush, in fact, ignored intel on the then forthcoming 9/11 attacks. The brief he chose to ignore, dated August 6, 2001, was de-classified by Bush's own administration in 2004. You can read it on the internet -- if you can read, that is.

  • Meet me in the land of hope and dreams

  • You obviously don't get it and did not belong there. The learning curve for you is apparently wide and long. Better luck next time.

    Love and best wishes,

    Joe Sixpack

  • why didn't you just go see Ted Nugent instead? Sounds like right up your your alley...

    Bruce= American Hero

  • Gosh darn it! The Republicants just don't get it. We need someone smart and articulate in office. 8 years of redneck policy has tainted the reputation of this country. No beauty pageant queen is going to save the McLame fiasco. You betcha!!

  • This show was great!!! Love you Bruce!

  • Thank you Bruce!

  • This was a great show! Go bruce!

    Listen to the BOSS.

    Obama 2008

  • Bruce is and will always be The Boss. Listen to your Boss!
