today is the aniversary of the Chopper going down into the Atlantic I can't belive it has been a year since then. I know as Newfoundlanders we rely on the sea and we lost and continue to Lose but still we will remember them until we see them again amen

It was drilling an exploration well in the Grand Banks area, 267 kilometres (166 miles) east of St. John's, Newfoundland, for Mobil Oil of Canada, Ltd. (MOCAN) with 84 crew members on board when it sank. There were no survivors of the accident.
@up44side Ironic part is it "flew the American flag"I saw a special on CBC about it and emailed the US Coast Guard to ask why they did the investigation of it where it was in Canadian waters, and since it was the registered in the US it was if it occurred in US waters.
