  • Hey Matt, that is one of my all-time favorite lfrv dishes! Mine is a bit different though - I add in a little celery and cilantro - maybe a squeeze of orange and lime juice. So so good! I've never put the sauce on the top though. Try it my way sometime if you like the other ingredients. Bon Appetite!

  • good idea :)

  • is this the whole meal? one mango and one tomato? lol. cool though

  • @ocergnairb Thanks, this is just a quick meal, the same way a person would grab a sandwich if they are on the move. I would generally have a banana smoothie after this.

  • I wish I liked the taste of tomatoes.

  • @IronCladBen Agreeeed. They are big in lfrv cuisine and are always available & stuff in supermarkets, abundant in gardens, available in restaurants etc but i really just can't stand them. they're nightshades and don't digest well with me

  • @ocergnairb I have never had a problem digesting anything. Even raw brocolli which i know a lot of people have trouble with, i could eat a whole head of one in a sitting. It may be due to the fact that I have a habit of fully masticating my food. Anything I swallow is completely predigested before hand in my mouth. Even when i ate SID (standard Irish Diet) I have never had an issue with digestion. Many digestion issues are down to how we eat.

  • @IronCladBen Not all tomatoes are created equal. These ones i get are incredible. Organic from the farmers market.

  • i'll try it but i don't think i'm gonna like it...lol...however i will let you know.

  • @iiablaze You may surprise your self! if the fruit is ripe juicy and organic it is hard not to like it. : )

  • luv it

  • @da1sinister1 : D

  • Hi Matthew-

It seems some of your new recipes are lower in fat and closer to an 811 type of eating. Are you moving toward this? I know one of your communications talked about olive oil and what it can do for the body, but lately it seems you are making more simple lower fat meals (which I tend to think is best. ) just curious. thanks for all you share... dont have time to catch all the vids, but try to watch them when i can! :-)

  • @RawHealingPatch Hey...thanks!! I was really strict with 811 for 4 months, individually counting the nuts I ate, only eating a third of an avocado and then the rest would go off! I have relaxed it now and eat more intuitively. I see folks on all different sorts of raw diets getting great results so I really don't think there is a best type. For me I believe the most important thing is if the food is alive or not. And I tend to eat my sugars in the daytime and fats in the evening. Ciao : )

  • @BeYourPotential cool thanks for the info. i agree.. eat intuitively and learn to know the signals your body gives you :-)
