  • 1'48"

    What a spin... Fucking good

  • Great video. Name of the song anyone?:D

  • I think the name of the song is salsa con coco by "El Gran Combo".

  • Agreed that they are not the creators of LA Salsa since there was Salsa in LA even before the the Vazquez brothers. The Vazquez brothers and other instructors/promoters (for eg. Josie Neglia, Rogelio Moreno, Alex Da Silva and Albert Torres through his Congresses, etc.),certainly did make LA Salsa popular worldwide.

  • There might have been salsa before the Vazquez brothers, but nothing close to what they created. They created a unique style that even now a lot of people try to emulate but they just get to be a copy of what they created. I personally think that even I'm really into the on 2 dancing I will never forget how the Vazquez brothers inspired a lot of people. I think the main credit is that how they inspired people who never thought they would be dancing salsa.

  • Well, him and his brothers certainly get the credit :).

I don't think it matters really. They helped make the style what it is now. I give them all the credit.
