@kodi991 actually its only 77 km/h to hydroplane which would be roughly 47mph at minimum but yes you would need to enter the water at around 80-100 km/h so that would be 50-62 mph because you lose roughly 5-8 km/h a second depending on the bounce while hydroplaning. so in a way you are correct so i hvae worked it out he should have hit the water from 92-100 km/h going by a rough estimate at how long he took in the water, but in reality you can get away with a variable of up to 20 km/h

You would need a new engine. Water can't be compressed. It's sucked into the cylinder und the whole engine bursts. Perhaps you could use the cylinder again but the crankshaft and block will be destroyes if it's a four stroke. If you have a two stroke you could be lucky just breaking the connecting rod.
