Found this artist on "Arctic Paradise" - a compliation disc of Finnish folk music - he had no represented music so i thought I would see what he was about....and I love it. very talented and unusual. He has taken the acordion to his own level and brought us with him!!!!

I saw this guy on Sunday night (2/08/09). Most inspirational performance ever. It was crazy and weird and one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. Amazing.

I saw him live with KTU last year, it was absolutely bizarre and mindblowing. He was like some tripped out shaman chanting this weird joiku shit. Incredible. Go see him play if you can, you won't regret it.

Kimmo is the best accordionist I've ever heard on recording and especially in concert. I wish he hadn't been so under appreciated here in Minneapolis. I love him and wish he'd return.

I just watched another YouTube video that reminded me of Kimmo and I came across this video. I saw him at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis (ages ago), too! He needs to come back someday. That was such a great show.
