i had a vision of a world without trailers. The mob used to have to patiently wait for a film to be released months on end, one movie at a time and it was sooo boring. I went to this movie in 2008 not knowing that I was about to watch an EPIC movie!! I even had to pay a surchage because it was a extra long movie. I regret not having seen this movie in IMAX. Still one of the best movies ever made.
this movie killed heath because of his character being the joker made him go crazy because he had to reherse his lines over and over and every night he would think of those lines so he could not sleep and had to buy sleeping pills that he overdosed on causing him to pass away
I watch the movie b/c I wanted to see how the actor playing The Joker was going to be good, and he didn't disappoint me at all. Heath Ledger did incredible acting as The Joker, and I was surprise how good he was. I also watch the movie b/c of Morgan Freeman since his badass.
i think the Joker in this movie , was more of a philosopher, a thinker , he had moments when he seemed reasonable, able to make conversation.

If you did you'd know that the movie 'realisstic' Joker although good in his own way, is borderline sane compared to the original Joker. he a crazy psychopath but he's not stupid, his iq rivals the Riddler's. He just doesnt explain why he does what he does, that's the point, and that's why Batman is the only one who can take him down, he somehow knows how his demented mind works, and reads a pattern where every1 else sees random madness.
Heath Ledger was a GREAT actor. But sadly in my opinion i was disappointed in the joker for this movie. I guess it's the director's fault or whoever wrote the script for the joker. I'm sure i'll get lots of negative comments my way but i dont care. I was hoping for the joker to go crazy with his loud laughter. That's the only thing i love about the joker. Had he done this just a few times during the movie i would have loved it.

Heath's Joker represents the current zeitgeist when the enemy doesn't have a face, and uses peoples own fears as a weapon. He's chaotic and personal.
Where in the 80s people feared missile strikes and military defeat, today people fear jihadists with knives, or bombs placed on planes. A different joker for different culture. :/
Oh yeah. It was certainly an "ooooh...." moment. I mean, who would have seen that coming? That was the biggest surprise ever. Who would have known that Harvey Dent would get a side of his face burnt, and then turn into Two Face? That was such a surprise. I mean, Nolan is a genius. Nobody would have ever guessed that Dent was going to get his face a scorched up and become Two Face. That's just genius writing. Who'd have thought that? Holy shit....

i had a vision of a world without trailers. The mob used to have to patiently wait for a film to be released months on end, one movie at a time and it was sooo boring. I dont want these trolls uploading fan made trailers, but why should i do all the work Ive had a change of heart, if the dark knight trailer in HD isnt uploaded in 60 minutes then i blow up a cinema.

I went to this movie in 2008 not knowing that I was about to watch an EPIC movie!! I even had to pay a surchage because it was a extra long movie. I regret not having seen this movie in IMAX. Still one of the best movies ever made.

this movie killed heath because of his character being the joker made him go crazy because he had to reherse his lines over and over and every night he would think of those lines so he could not sleep and had to buy sleeping pills that he overdosed on causing him to pass away

I watch the movie b/c I wanted to see how the actor playing The Joker was going to be good, and he didn't disappoint me at all. Heath Ledger did incredible acting as The Joker, and I was surprise how good he was. I also watch the movie b/c of Morgan Freeman since his badass.

i think the Joker in this movie , was more of a philosopher, a thinker , he had moments when he seemed reasonable, able to make conversation.
.
i expect Joker to be random, crazy, unpredictable, a maniac, cracking jokes and being the only one laughing.
he lives for the chase, for the "game" Batman and him, for a grand punch line, for a grandiose entrance , for destroying ppl's because they're lives are petty IHO, he enjoys every second of it and doesnt think about the consequence 4 a second

If you did you'd know that the movie 'realisstic' Joker although good in his own way, is borderline sane compared to the original Joker. he a crazy psychopath but he's not stupid, his iq rivals the Riddler's. He just doesnt explain why he does what he does, that's the point, and that's why Batman is the only one who can take him down, he somehow knows how his demented mind works, and reads a pattern where every1 else sees random madness.

Heath Ledger was a GREAT actor. But sadly in my opinion i was disappointed in the joker for this movie. I guess it's the director's fault or whoever wrote the script for the joker. I'm sure i'll get lots of negative comments my way but i dont care. I was hoping for the joker to go crazy with his loud laughter. That's the only thing i love about the joker. Had he done this just a few times during the movie i would have loved it.

the patriot, knights tale, brokeback mountain. he was just acting in those. in this one he emersed himself, locking himself in a hotel room, creating his own facepaint. when you watch this movie you dont see heath like in his previous movies. he literally became this character "the joker". and from constantly acting this way even off set he began taking anxiety pills and another prescription pill. thats what led to his death. its hard to remember him as heath, he is The Joker

Still one of the greatest trailers I have ever seen.
Even before Heath's death, you just knew he did something special in this movie based on the trailer. His death was unnecessary, and didn't add any extra intrigue for me personally.

Jack's Joker represents the zeitgeist when the enemy was an organized communism, a threat from the outside with a visible, conventional face. He's impish and aloof.
Heath's Joker represents the current zeitgeist when the enemy doesn't have a face, and uses peoples own fears as a weapon. He's chaotic and personal.
Where in the 80s people feared missile strikes and military defeat, today people fear jihadists with knives, or bombs placed on planes. A different joker for different culture. :/

Oh yeah. It was certainly an "ooooh...." moment. I mean, who would have seen that coming? That was the biggest surprise ever. Who would have known that Harvey Dent would get a side of his face burnt, and then turn into Two Face? That was such a surprise. I mean, Nolan is a genius. Nobody would have ever guessed that Dent was going to get his face a scorched up and become Two Face. That's just genius writing. Who'd have thought that? Holy shit....
