There's lots of things in the flintstones that they couldn't have had back then, but that's what makes them so funny. Watch the old cartoons, everything they use or talk about is a stone-age version of modern times.

Mark Addy is as good as John Goodman, same opinion about Elizabeth Taylor compared to Joan Collins.

Stephen Baldwin played Barney a lot younger, Rick Moranis was an adult, but both actors expressed his stupidity very good.

And finally I think Elizabeth Perkins is much much MUCH better than Kristen Johnston.
