I work with Pro Tools and I can`t seem to find out if Proteus is RTAS,I say that because you said Pro Tools and most free plug-ins are Vsti.I hope you or someone can help me.BTW;Sample Tank has a very nice one too.

@Draakie100 I am not a pro tools user but, I this there is a vst wrapper so you can use vsts in pro tools. I can talk to one of my producer friends who uses pro tools and see what he say.

@maltcus Yeah there is a wrapper (FXpansion) but I`m not so happy with it. But thanks for the info. I`ll have to upgrade Cubase and run it in that. Pro Tools is a very nice but very expensive program because it only loads expensive RTAS plug-ins. I`ll keep it for mastering/mixing and upgrade my Cubase.

PS; The Omnisphere synth is awesome ! (But I think you`ll allready know that). All the best from Amsterdam and thanks for the tutorial.

@daq1170 I don't use FL but, look up how to use VST is FL. Reason you can not use it in cause Reaswon do no support the use of VSTs

You can use the 'Link' option to join two (or more) sounds together within the actual bank itself, no need to use separate MIDI channels.

Proteus Vx works well with Ableton , sonar , and especially Cubase it never did work good with Flstudio

hi man..i have a problem..i buy a midi keyboard so they give me proteus x and 3 sample banks:mo phatt,planet earth and protean drums..the problem is that these 3 banks doesnt play it show me a message said(one or more sample link could not be found)but if i select 2 other banks that i dont know how the appear there name(proteus x composer the samples play...do u have any idea whats the problem is???ty man:):)

how can i make an exact or close copy of the enigma flute used in sadness, their is a sample called breather which is a lot like the enigma flute,

How do you save when using proteus vx in FL Studio 7? I can't save my presets it only gives me an error message saying it is not a valid EOS or Emulator bank file.

Hey,thanks for uploadin this, helps a lot, now i use fl studio...it loads smoothly, but the plugin is to big and doesn't fit the screen, i can get sounds if i click library, but in fl it's stuck on sampler, causing sounds to not load, is there anyway i can shrink the vst or another way to switch the plugin from system to library?...once i again i use fl , fl7 to be exact, thanks if u get back at me

Do you know how I can use more than one sound from proteus XV in a song without having to open multiple instances of proteus? I'm trying to make a song using about 6 instruments from Proteus but that involves assigning 6 different instances of proteus to 6 different channels in FL studio and then it takes 6 times as long to load up cos proteus boots 6 times. Is there a way of just having ONE instance of proteus running at once and simply assigning individual instruments to separate channels? thx

you have to load up 6 midi track and change the channels on it. and change the channel on the proteus vx. I might do another proteus video

Thanks man, i figured it out after a couple hours. A video would be helpful for others because without knowing how to do what you described, XV is completely useless. To FL users its important to set VX to a specific port, then open some MIDI out channels and set them to the same port. The channels on the midi-outs then correspond to one of the 16 channels on XV

hey whats dj markey g im using proteus vx as a plugin on fruity loops8 and everthing is cool but when i render out my track as a audio file the drum tracks i used in proteus are out of syn with the rest of my intruments what am i doing wrong in proteus asap

im noy sure cause i don't use FL. From the amount of question i get the most comes from FL producers. I never had a problem with it on sonar. I know it can be used in FL but, I don't know if there are changes to the setting thats need or what. wish I can help you. can you bounce the midi to audio? b

well when you moved the folder. it may had done something. maybe its still looking for it in the c folder. I would uninstall and then reinstall in the f drive.

well you will need to have a seq. software like cakewalk sonar, cubase, protools etc.. there are videos on how to make beats with VST.
