  • Love the zombie remix in the background

  • does anyone know if the trijicon doctor would be a good optic for an ar 15?

  • @dalton4771 i dont see why not,t i would think it would be good for alot of weapons

  • Something about this video creeps me out. Maybe it's the combination of a slow-talking, deadpan voice, describing a combat shotgun, with Japanese pop music faintly playing in the background. Yeah... That's probably what it is...

  • Have you ever tried painting it before? I sanded my whole 590 down and repainted it black, and the heatshield blue. It looks pretty sick but the paint is chipping off, and im mad now cause it looks like shit.

Anybody know what kind of paint to use so i won't chip off? Or am i doing something wrong?

  • @Davide131 try the duracoat process.

  • Is the 20" barrel long enough to shoot clays with at a skeet club? Reason I ask is that I really want a tactical shotgun like this, but also would like to shoot clays.

  • can you put a pistol grip on a moss 590?

  • @jkjk354 yea you can! ATI Shotgun Collapsible Stock and Forend Package $99.00

FITS: 12 gauge Mossberg 500/590, Remington 870, and Winchester 1200/1300 models.

  • pussy wit a gun

  • @lilflame261

    You're undereducated.

  • whats the brand and model of the light mount you have here?

  • No this is what we call tactilol.

  • You changed the heat shield? Looks stock...

  • Comment removed

  • Lose the stock. add pistol grip and combat sling :)

  • Of course there's Ted nugent playing in the background. haha

  • why teh ret dot sight

  • how to install the rail?

  • Only problem with the light you can see them...but they also can see you ..an easy target

  • @fallenangil1 true, but this light is tactical and blinds them and greatly improves your odds

  • can u please tell me the exact model number for the 9 shot mossberg 590? Im interested only with the one that has the 9 shot thks

  • JAMM

  • Came buckets.

  • good review! This is my next weapon. How much does everything total up to? -$700?

  • Hey there, looking to get my first shotgun for my collection of firearms. Is this a good choice over a Remington 870 express Tactical?

  • too slow i went aslleep in the minddle

  • I heard you can add a bayonet. And could you get a special purpose with a full stock and pistol grip?

  • u sware u know what ur talking about

  • its called a special purpose well what are the special purposes?

  • @xoxojustinbieberFREA home defense, law enforcement, zombie extermination, ect.

  • @xoxojustinbieberFREA the speed feed comes pistol grip i am pretty sure (with stock) and yes you can get a bayonette for this

  • add an Aimtech warhammer piccantany rail, knoxx recoil stock, aluminum pump fore end to finish it off and your in business.

  • get rid of that heatshield and replace it with a picantanny rail from the stock to the end of your heatshield. The piccantany rail is sold at cheaperthandirt and its called the warhammer. the item number is SHT-121. Then add a Leapers UTG tactical Aluminum forearm and get rid of that plastic stock one. the item number is SHT-150. Also a recoil stock would be nice. A mossberg recoil stock will greatly reduce your recoil. Item number 38885

  • I've went through 3 optics already how much was that one and were did you get it? the most I've spent on one is 100 bucks, Maybe thats the problem. I have a A.C.O.G that holds up but its not very fast acquisition

  • Why'd you get rid of your A1?

  • Very nice! I have had My 590 for closeto ten years now and I love it

  • Badazz! Great Weapon Great Vid!

  • cool beans don't need that heat shield you dont touch the top i was practicing mag dumps never got hot enuf to burn me you shoot phone books and milk jugs filled with water? lots o fun or stays un loved

  • can u ues this for hunting?

  • you think it would be better to get one of these or a Norinco M1897 as a first gun? or something like an Maverick 88?

i'm sort of set on a shotgun, and i would like something with some punch.

  • I have the Mossberg 500a. Beautiful gun with about 1500 rounds through it. Never had a problem. I love the 9 shots it can carry.

  • price?

  • why would you load it in your house?

  • @roberto125919 It doesn't work as well as a home defense weapon if it isn't loaded.

  • @NortonGreg1830 turners outdoorsman

  • This is so cool that I want to kill someone with it. Preferably a feminist.

  • Question. I bought the rail for my Mossberg and the Allen screws it came with are much bigger than the pre-drilled/tapped holes on the reciever. Did you have the same problem or did you take it to a gunsmith or perhaps find smaller Allen screws?

    Thanks

Also can you still use the bead sight with that rail/red dot?

  • bad ass! Is that Madonna playing in the background? negative points for that.

  • Nice! I have that same light set up on my 500. Great combo!

  • man, you dropped a lot of cash on that gun! it looks great and if i had the cash, i would do a lot of that stuff too. Cool video!

  • I hav a Mossberg 535 and plan on modifying to make a tac shotgun except Im going with a 24 in. bbl. I assume all the stuff can be used on the 535? I put an extension on the mag. so it can hold 8 rounds of 3 1/2 mag shells and replacing the butt with a butt stock that has a pistol grip.

  • So how much of a pain is it to remove that light mount everytime you remove the barrel?

  • any one know if you can take the rear sight off of an A1 and replace it with a picatiny rail with a red dot sight and a backup rear sight on the rail as well? I know you can take it the original one off and get a rail as well as a red dot on it, but is there a sight that is made that could go on a rail and be practical?

  • @8onebaddude8

not sure exactly what you mean, but on my A1 i removed the rear sight and mounted the evolution gun works rail and a burris fastfire, worked out fine.

  • @Hereticuk Sometimes companies just name things that way, and it just sticks. You don't have to come off as suck a twat about it.

  • Tourch is nice

  • i like that youre listening to kylie monogue when you are making a gun vid. lmao.

is this the elite team fighting guy?!

  • where did u get that light and how much also im sellin a ati top foldin stock $40

  • I'll be honest I had the screw acting as a trigger housing pin backwards..lol..But I saw how yours is and I fixed it. I was at the range when it was on wrong and the saddle kept swinging down hitting my hand. We're all good to go now.

  • Does the side saddle mount underneath the rail?

  • no, mounts by replacing a screw within the action behind the elevator. you may also ahve to remove the trigger assembly. but overall it's a relatively simple process and the saddle comes with instructions.

  • @trykp What is the difference between the 590 vs the a1? On the website it says "590a1 special purpose"... im confused.

  • @trykp where did u get your side sattle from? i got a tacstar 6 shot saddle from amazon for a mossberg 500/590 and when i got it it wasent the right one, on the plate that came with the saddle there were 2 screw holes in the middle on the plate, on the reciever of my shotgun they were different!! was yours the same way?!

  • I just bought my first shotgun ever....Mossberg 500 12. Just ordered a tactical stock with grip...cant wait to add more stuff to it. The thing is Heaven to shoot.

  • @agalloch07...your not a smart one are you? You spelled douchebag wrong and you have no idea what the spread pattern is on a shotgun.

  • Your a fucking moron

  • cool vid man i just got my 590 i sold my 500 and got the 590 i need to get a couple of things for it like a flash light mount and shit.

  • very nice setup I went wit the 18.5 6 round model and just the look of it makes most gun freaks jealous

  • what happened to your A1? lol why down grade bro

  • does anyone else feel that the length of pull is rather long on the 590?. Sometimes i feel like the stock is too long or something.

  • @watmonki maybe youre too small :)

  • Thats what I thought, lol. But actually I hear the same complaints of the 590A1 having too long a pull from other people as well.

  • @watmonki Alot of guns do for whatever reason, the companies didn't really think it out I guess.. I have a Beretta Extrema 2 and that sum bitch is loooongaaa! (long-guh) lol

  • @watmonki look at getting a Hogue 12" LOP stock

  • I really want that side saddle bag. does it require gunsmithing? little confused on how it works.

  • Have one on my 590A1. It's a 5 min install. Just a couple of screws and a nut. Only tools required are a flat tip screw driver and 2 allen wrenches (included).

  • simonov. That side saddle does not require a smith. it comes complete with all the hardware necc. to mount. you need a couple of tools and you are good to go! I love mine to death! ...don't forget the Speed Feed Stock to match.

  • it a great gun i shoot bats with my friend`s

  • How does the flashlight work out for you? Im very tempted to buy one.

    thanks

  • the light is great. I've used it at my friends ranch, pitch black night and shines out quite a distance. although i'll probably never use it tactically with my 590, i still like it for all around use and i think its just good to have. all these lights can be pricey, but buying American is the way to go for a quality product.

  • @Simonov5966

TLR-1 are very good lights that stand up to the recoil of a 12ga. I would mount it closer to the end of the pump though

  • I have a 590A1 with ghost sights. I;d love to get a rail on mine with a red dot sight. Are there any sort of rails that don't require drilling for it?

  • yep. just do a quick search on google for picatinny rails for your gun and a number from different places should pop up. mine is from EGW, but i think the mossberg website also sells it. since you're gun is drilled/tapped, just make sure you get the rail made for your model and you'l be set :)

  • @Simonov5966

If you have GRS then your reciever is ready for a rail, but you will have to remove your current rear sight

  • could you do strip and clean video cant find one anywhere on you tube

    nice gun by the way

  • Sure thing. I 'm pretty lazy when it comes to making videos but since i'll try to make the time and put one up asap!!

    thanks for asking :)

  • nice shotgun man!

  • note: when demonstrating the loading process have snap caps handy so youre not stuck using live shells, thus creating an unsafe situation.

  • Where can I get one of these, and how much would it set me back with just the basics and a heat shield?

  • i got a mossberg 500 loks just like that but with a pistol grip for 340 with tax heat shields come standard with new ones.

  • Where'd you buy it?

  • yeah prices can vary between retailers. if you want a parkerized one, go to a local gunshop. if you don't mind the blued version, BIG 5 (if you're on the west coast) usually has them for around 350.

  • @trykp yep I saw one at BIG 5 for around $390 today. I check it out and very nice gun.

  • I LOVE THE 590!Its so slick.I might get that puppy.

  • I'm digging the Kylie Minogue you have in the background.

  • excellent. Love it. How much did the Dr. Optic set you back?

  • NICE! Anti-home invasion device

  • was the side saddle easy to install?

  • i have a 590A1, is it possible to get heat guards for it?

  • Yes and no. You won't be able to get a stock heatshield since it wont fit on as easily. However, there are some gunshops that do custom work and theyd be able to make one that fits specifically on the a1. good luck!

  • mm sexy gun 5/5

  • how much was the sight? i got an 88 and the only thing i want to upgrade are the sight and to put a sling on it.

  • Please tell me about that gun light ring. Does it fit on a Rem 870?

    Thanks.

  • This one fits specifically for the mossberg i believe. But if you search, theres a good amount of companies that make this. The one i have is specifically by Streamlight, so they might make one for the 870 as well.

    thanks, good luck!!

  • Sound a little bit more enthusiastic next time..

  • Trying :\. Still new to online videos sorta thing :).

stay tuned for future vid on steyr scout and smith&wesson revolver :)!!

  • dude...2 words...fire it!

  • where did you buy your red dot sight? what brand is it? is it sturdy after use? thanks ahead of time.

  • it's a Trijicon Holographic Reflex Sight, and its very sturdy, Trijicon is trusted by law enforcement and armed forces all around the world.

  • yep. I don't have it on much lately. I've gotten a Leupold vx-i 1-4x shotgun scope which works better for when i fire slugs now and then.

But yeah, Trijicon is a quality brand and makes some of the finest optics :).

  • bro you need the pistol grip it makes the gun

  • kylie monogue in the back round ??? lol

  • does the gun jam when u cock it

    tell me

  • no. never has

  • dude youre voice is like drugs lol

  • i was all about the rem 870 for the longest time but have recently begun to swing toward the mossberg side

  • whats the barrel length

  • Nice shotgun. I have the exact same. 2 things you might like that I LOVE: Knoxx Compstock that comes with a Hogue Forend grip. The shotgun feels SOOO much better to hold and pump. Hogue grips are comfortable. The Compstock makes shooting the toughest rounds a breeze.

It's taken my shotgun to such a pleasurable level. I recommend you get the compstock. Midwest Hunters Outlet sells it for 85 bucks online.

  • Thanks!!. I've never tried it, ill be sure to look into that :)

  • abria algun proble en comprar un arma desde españa?gracias

  • no estoy seguro. tendrá que verificar con la leyes de armas en España y pregunte a su distribuidor de armas de fuego si se vende esto. buena suerte!. :)

  • Wow! That's nice dude! I know you feel safe in the house at night with that MACHINE!

  • The bad guys head would be removed before he has time to react to the "ANT TACTICAL" Light. and lastly, i think he would like to know what he is shooting at in the dark before he removes any of the bad guys appendages. haha, nice try tho.

  • I'm not going to lie.. I stopped watching the video at about 1:22 just because you're stupid. A tactical light.. really? If you're in a dark room, and shining your stupid litte light everywhere, that will most likely give the bad guy a target, probably around your face. You'd be better off holding a normal flashlight off to the side.. a mounted "tactical" light is ANTI TACTICAL

  • You should read what Clint Smith - Director of Thunder Ranch - has to say about that. He TAPES a flashlight to his shotgun!

  • Actually, the purpose of a tactical light, is used to disorient the target. A bright light of any kind in a situation like that will momentarily stun a hostile, allowing you to acquire and engage that target. It gives you a slit second advantage.

  • split ?

  • Yes, i am going to have to agree with joetanrocks1, the best thing to do in an urban setting is to run around madly in the dark and shoot anything and everything. Having a light that gives you any kind of visual on the target is "stupid".

  • nice man! i got one too. i added the knoxx stock to mine, it's extremely comfortable

  • hwo much does this version of the gun cost

  • I've been getting confuzed with it's shell capacity, and i've been getting different answers, being that you own one, I'd like to ask you and finally get an accurate answer, is this civilian legal?

  • yes... it is 8+1 in the chamber of the 2 3/4""you can add another in the tube... bring it to 10 after you cyrcle one in the chamber.

it is 7+1 of the 3 inch but then throw another in the tube and have 9

  • thanks alot, i appreciate the help, now i know what shotgun i'm gonna buy next, thanks =]...

  • and i have just a reg old foid card and was able to purches a 590a1 with the speed-feed stock

  • how much did this whole thing cost you?

  • Does that particular Mossberg come in a pistol-grip? Also did you have to special-order that beast?

  • The 590a1 does not... they have an a1 with an adjustable stock. Also this a1 does not come with a heat shield... most a1's have ghost ring sights that wont allow the shield to fit. The pistol grip is nice, but if youre like me and like to put 150 rounds of double odd threw her in a day, your wrist will be broken. The nice thing about Mossberg though is that you can do almost anything to any model. You can buy and make your weapon... and it would still be cheaper then a Remi 870

  • And Im not going to lie... since of Mossberg reputation and cheap price, (the only thing cheap about Mossberg), they are going to be hard to find in stores. I lucked out and got the A1 at Gander Mt. Mossberg doesnt sell there guns online either. So your best bet is trying to order one threw a store... I recommend buying a gun from gun shows, gun stores, or right from a previous owner. Unless it is coming from the maker I wont trust the condition of the weapon... thats just me.

  • you could geta mossberg at big 5 sporting goods

  • Who makes that red dot sight you have?

  • Trijicon

  • For those strapped for cash, sporting goods stores sell the blued 590's at occasional sale prices that, for significantly less dough, will score you functionally the same shotgun as this one was before this guy customized it. Same heatshield factory installed too. It's just a shiny finish instead of tactical non-reflective matte. Far as ammo, for a little more $, if you really want a bruised shoulder, federal shells hit way harder than winchester. Don't know why, but the difference is clear.

  • iIt isnt the same gun... the A1 are a better-built receiver and a heavy walled barrel. The a1 even looks a little more beefy. On the newer A1 they have a metal trigger guard while the standard 500 & 590 do not. With that said... my uncle has these models and I like it just as much! I had to go to the A1, because who doesnt want a bayonet fixing point?

  • i got the benelli nova pump with a 18.5 inch barrel and that tlr-1 could i get that mount rail for my gun to use my light also or do i have to get the extended choke first!!

  • Hrmm... interesting point. I checked out your gun video but I cannot be certain that the mounting setup i have will work on yours even if you got the extension magazine tube. Good news is that the tlr-1 fits perfectly on several different rail styles so you could probably find a rail tube specifically designed for your gun that should work. Good luck!!

  • ok man thanks alot

  • I just picked up a 590 on wednesday. Tonight, I mounted a Mossberg 702 semi auto .22lr underneath the magazine tube with scope rings, as if it were a bayonet. Then I took it out to shoot it. The 702 made it so heavy, but it was a blast to shoot.

  • How accurate u think slugs wud be outta a mossberg590? i want this gun, but wanna get 100 yards outta slugs, think thats possible?

Oh and i am thinking about a Knoxx Compstock

  • keep in mind this a chocked barrel it wont be effective with slugs if your looking for a slug gun go with a rifled barrel you can get a 100 yards if you know what your doing

  • Yes, actually you can probably take this up to 100yrds. I use winchester super x slugs and they work absolutely great. good ammunition and good price. Correction below: this gun has no choke. the similar Remington 870 has a choke, but is removable.

  • I bet this scares the crap out of liberals! =D

  • I am a dem and i own one of these, not as tech out but a 590 none the less.

  • nice set-up...

  • How much did that Streamlight set up cost you, and where did you buy it?

I'm tired of Para-cording my surefire to my magazine tube : )

  • Haha. Well I got this at a decent deal from my buddies at my local gun shop. Normally the light will run $80-$100, the mount I think was $0.

  • can you put a pistol grip on this gun?

  • Yeah, but a pistol grip on a shotgun is like putting a 4" diameter chainlink steering wheel on a car.

It might look cool to some people, but you don't get any benefit.

  • you can buy this gun in a pistol grip

  • Yes, you could if you wanted to. I personally wouldn't recommend it, unless it's one with a buttstock as well.

  • Been looking at getting one of these for home protection. Your review was very helpful. Thanks for sharing.

  • I strongly recommend the rem 870 over the mossberg, the slide is much more rugged and overall it just feels more sturdy. trust me, its worth the extra buck.

  • but I will say that it is a nice setup. DIdn't know you could mount the rail up there. Question: I know the "tactical" model has the heat sheild, but I have never had to grab the barrel after unloading 8 shells =). Overall, theres really nothing else that I would rather be holding when a mad max scenario breaks out lol

  • Just for looks :). Honestly, I don't even shoot to the extent that the barrel gets unbearable to touch :).
