For example "r_aspectratio 1" will set a 16:9 aspect ratio.

This gives you a true widescreen fov, horizontal fov will be increased while the vertical fov stays the same.

When you have set a new aspect ratio, you can use the g_fov command to change Doom 3's fov as usual.

g_fov 90..

whats the first song btw? im getting this game tommorow. ive nvr been good at any games, ive tryed cs1.6,source,quake3,ut04, none of them work for me. Im gonna try Doom 3. I HAD quake 4 but i screwed it up somehow, and i cant play it :( it was a game i was actually getting better at. you still play? youd be a good person to fight and learn from.
