I guess I always imagined the airport in Korea to be a lot busier. I do think it's funny that you're choosing to eat Quizno's even though you are in Korea. Another good blog. Thx Jason. =)
@WhiteMatrix2006 Overall it is a busy terminal - but it's also huge and the Quiznos is located at the end of a long walkway.
I usually eat something "American" on my way into Japan since it's the last chance I'll get for a while - this time I just fancied a sandwich - I can always eat Korean food on the plane if I like.
@myargonauts If the Korean on the plane is anything like American food on the plan (in coach at least) I would rather eat the Korean food there then on the plane. LOL! Anyways, I see where you're coming from wanting to eat something American before going to Japan. Especially the part of Japan you tend to go to does not have as much of an American food choice. =)
About an year ago, I asked you "will it be hard to get a job when you get back to the US if you spend, say, 2-3 years in japan after college?", and you wrote "it's obviously something I'll be facing myself next year. I will vlog about it next spring."
I kinda have been waiting for your answer because I couldn't find much on Google.
Was it THAT difficult to get a good, stable job in the US? Frankly, I'm starting to have a second thought about applying to JET.
Hmm when you leave the UK there are no exit controls so you don't have your passport checked by immigration. However the rest of the EU does this because of the Schengen area.
Man, you're a well of information, not the grand stuff, no, the stuff that interests me. Even if I -- living outside the English-speaking world -- haven't the foggiest idea about what the taste of those appetizing products is.
@shironbo7845 I'm getting the impression that you have some serious problem with foreigners in Japan. You left nearly the same comments for one of my videos which makes me wonder if you are running around the jvlog community stirring up trouble for trouble's sake. You have been blocked on my channels and I recommend others do the same.
Because we live in globalized world, where working across borders should be encouraged. Seriously the videos you link to concern a miniscule amount of the gaijin living in Japan. Jeez
Sorry,I think, this is my guess, this guy has can not find a job in own country and had no choice but had to come to japan as a "native" English teacher.maybe..
so-called "Loser".
most of "teachers"like this dude can't speak, write and read the Japanese language.
That is,only mother tongue,nonqualified & unskilled Gaijin.
YES,Japan is overflowing with "Loser-Gaijin" like this guy.
Another awesome vlog. I'm learning such much about the daily life over there from you. What a great experience. By the by, I like playing hearts a lot too!
@NodnarbRS well, I like to fly to Osaka instead of Tokyo, since Osaka is much closer to Shimane ken. So flying to Osaka is much cheaper and easier if you connect via Hawaii or Korea (coming from Calif).
So I was looking for some info on the this book you mentioned, "Rain Fall" and it turns out this book was made into a movie (2009). So I think I'll just watch that instead b/c there is not reading involved.
@SlickWilly440 haha.. well, I do recommend the book - I finished it. And I do want to see the movie - should be out later this month on DVD according to Netflix.
Yes, most countries check your passport (immigration desk) when you depart except America and Canada as far as I experienced. Very wired to me cuz I live in Asia and fly quite a lot, however i agree it is faster in canada/american when departing. Great Vid!!
@refreshNhappy - FYI Hangul is the written language of Korea. So you would want to actually ask if he speaks Korean. Just like in Japanese, the written languages are named different than the spoken (eg: Hiragana/Katakana).
@myargonauts hey jason when i went to japan 2 years ago i noticed that coke tastes alot different in japan than it does in america, is it made with sugar cane? did u noticed it taste different
I was surpirsed by the amount of Quizno's here. We have a few of em in Seoul.
