I don't think my niece's best friend's grandfather the former Chinese state symphony orchestra member could play that on his traditional bowed Chinese instrument and he's pretty dang amazing in his own right.
I saw a guy in Cambridge Massachusetts outside of Harvard square, a man playing an instrument similar to this instrument, only i think it was the traditional variant. this looks like a shamisen mixed with that. very rare. great for street performing.
The most incredible rendition of this song! How to top the zither sounds and the tabla?! This certainly finds a way to build on the foundational awareness and structure of the gorgeous composition. And what a beautiful and curious instrument! More please!?!
@TorigoyaSound "However, in my youtube channel special playlist Hu has time for friction. By playing different songs and tone, I do a lot or even or even solo and band. Hope you find the other songs."
@TorigoyaSound "Thank you for the comment. It was once named Hu bowed instrument in the sense that sound like a fiddle. The string rubs the rotating disk. The 'Atsuko you' is a two-string electric instrument. For more information, visit my HP or receive, "Hu bowed once," Please put a Google search. The tremolo and staccato playing is possible not only to sustain the steering (3:10 - reference)
hell yeaahh that the good part of youtube ... see a strange chinese playing with a strange organ one of the most famous songs with his culture thing :P
I find this absolutely amazing. The sound with the drone strings. To hear it is one thing, but to see it being performed is surreal. Very interesting instrument. Man, when you crank that thing up. Wow! Thanks for sharing. Domo Arigato
when that wooden thingy with a crank attached to it started to make this amazing sound... well, that was a definitive fuck me moment. really cool. 6 stars.
Just. Wow. Very representative of the sounds I would have expected to associate with the ancient Orient. Much like the bagpipe represents the Scotch, this Kaisatsuko represents (to me) the soul of Asia.
Not sure why'd you say that...but you're looking for a fight where none exists. If you're so prickly with prejudices that you're constantly looking for a fight, you're going to have a miserable life.
My comment was a compliment to the musician. Not to start a fight with some anonymous oddball who's got a chip on their shoulder.
Go bother someone else, and get help. It reads like you might need some.
It looks like a samisen which has been modified like a hurdy gurdy. Is that an indicator light on the front? An electric hurdy gurdy samisen played like a violin? Craziest instrument ever?
this instrument could do a cool intro of Led Zeppelin's In the Light

TorigoyaSound 2 years ago

kisUmet 2 years ago
「回擦胡」という名前から推測すると、発音原理はバイオリンと同じ。回転する円盤がバイオリンの弓の代わりになって弦を擦ることで音が出る。
調べてみると演奏者さん自作の楽器のようですね
