clearly, whoever casted focused more on music than acting. Not that its a problem. Everyone has a wonderful voice...but the acting wihout music isnt really up to par....still awesome show tho
we just did this production at my community theater, i was a nun....
i think i like our production better, because the trapp kids are a little awkward in height...i mean, friendrich is way shorter than liesl, louisa and brigitta and marta is taller than kurt.........but it's a very good performance!!
I think I've fallen in love with this tiny, community theatre production so because the cast is extremely genuine at every turn - Maria and the Captain are captivating, the children so natural I believe they really are siblings, and Max, Elsa, Rolf, and the Mother Abbess sell me with great voices and fine acting.
Man, the set for this play is awsome. I wish the theater that Im with had awsome sets like this, But its based in a churh so or sets are limited =( (awsome play!!)
The actor playing Liesl is pretty.
