  • Reg, Reginald Fairfield.

  • Rest In Peace Davy.

  • Why the Hell didn't they play a Monkee's song? like we haven't heard My Girl a hundred times before, plus they can't do it very well.

  • LOL I love that Topanga calls Ethan Suplee a Mallrat.

  • R.I.P Davy, the music you made with the Monkeys will always be remembered!!!!!

  • LOL LOVE IT

  • I was never a "Boy Meets World" fan, but I love this episode.

Did anyone else notice how you could hear someone playing drums, but there was no one behind the drumset?

    Still awesome, though!

  • the only member of the Monkee i new back then was Davy Jones that how i realize it back then (blame the brady bunch both the tv show & movie )

  • Even though Peter is my favourite Monkee, I think Davy's part is the best, so hilariously annoying, with a great accent.

  • The Monkees, a reference to the Beatles, and Mr. Kincaid? what more could you want? ...well, you know, except for like david cassidy or something... :)

  • @labyrinthmonkee Or Mike Nesmith!

  • wish this show was back on tv.

  • lol did anyone catch the Mallrats reference when Topanga calls Franky (ethan suplee who starred in the movie by kevin smith) a mall rat

  • I'm going to see them in May!

  • Peter. Micky, and Davy are going to be on tour this summer. They are starting their tour in the UK and then in the US.

  • peter part was the best part of the show

  • "It's Reg! Reginald Fairfield!!"

    LOL I love it!!!!

  • I did not know Peter Tork played Topanga's father in two episodes of Boy Meets World. It is so great to have three of the four Monkees back together in this episode. All the Monkees were playing different characters in the show. Micky as the plumber, Peter played Topanga's father, and Davy as Amy's old friend.

  • I like Micky better on drums. :) He's just my drummer boy! :)

  • such an underrated show, watch it every morn!

  • ha the the guy who played frankie was in mallrats

  • Davy doesn't sound like himself at all!

    Thank you!

  • @cookmoore Yes, he does.

  • I. Love. The. Monkees.!!!

  • @lannykaster1 well if you look a few seconds later.. there is this guy in a blue shirt practically grinding topanga and i laughed for daays ! lmfaao <33

  • REG REGINALD FAIRFIELD!!! LMAO

  • @The7mileBeast It was on MTV2 about an hour ago, & I said that with him every time.

  • Just watched this episode this morning. Love The Monkees and loved this episode

  • lol love them (btw mickeys been on at least another episode i t was funy just turned on this show and hey isnt that mickey the monkees mickey)?

  • I forget, why is Topanga's dad dressed like Paul Revere?

  • The BEST part is Peter Tork, Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz......that MADE the show!

  • I wonder why Michael didn't appear with the Monkees in this episode?

  • @WWEChampion16 He was probably busy. when they've done reunion tours he rarely is able to make it b/c he's working or something like that.

  • @photographerleia I heard he wants to forget all about the Monkees.

  • @photographerleia I heard, I don't know this is true, that Mike Nesmith did not want to be part of the Monkees anymore after he departed from the group? He wanted to do his country solo music.

  • @bubblebear83 thats very true he wants nothing to do with the band the monkees after the show I think its dumb of him

  • I've messed up with my parents' old year books/photo albums too. I turned to a page and pointed out a few really good lookin' guys, until my dad pointed out that they were my dad's old friends who streaked with him. XD

  • oh my goodness, I havn't smiled this much in a while

  • 9:02

Wow few years ago I didn't know what the guy was talking about and now I know it was a reference to The Beatles, they sang songs about mothers haha

  • It's actually two references. That guy played the Patridge Family's manager on their TV show, which is the reference to the mother in the group. The 'bigger than the Beatles' quote is due to how the Monkees started...a fictional TV group to try and be as succesful as the Beatles, which didn't work out. It was a joke on themselves really and why they all say "naaaah" at the end.

  • Been looking for this for years. Back when I first saw it, I had NO idea who they were or what the reference was supposed to be. Now, I'm a classic rock fan, and you can pretty much guess whether or not understand this now.

  • go to 7:P47 .. funniest thing every

  • @xofieldhockeyERINxo what's so funny at 7:47 ?????

  • hey where can I find the bit before Micky first comes in with Peter being a bit clueless. B/c I did find it on here...and lost it again...

  • "That would be mom!" xD

  • Just like the good old days

  • Oh my god. The Monkees...singing Buddy Holly!?! Two of my favourite things EVER! If Michael Nesmith had been there too I think I would have died. I'm very curious to know if I actually saw this ep when I was a kid and stupidly did not realise that was them. I know I at least never recognised Peter.

  • "You guys could be bigger than the Beatles."

    "Bigger than the Beatles?"

    All three- "Naaww"

    Lol

  • LOL, key of D, it's in C. haha.

  • i <3 the my girl part it is my favorite part

  • bigger than the beatles....nah!

  • I freaked out the first time I saw this episode. I've been a huge Monkees fan since second grade.

  • nice buddy holly at the end

  • mallrat is funny since he is the one who couldnt see the hidden pic in the painting, i love that in joke

  • That's actually Dave Madden, who played Rueben Kincaid on the Partridge Family. The Monkees and The Partridge Family...my two favorites! :-)

  • "I have a full morning of classes before lunch."

"Why, thank you, George! I'd love to sit in."

  • Yep. They've still got it.

  • oh this is really cool! i wasn't even born when the Monkees were in their prime, but i fell in love with them on nickelodeon reruns as a youngster. i just saw on wikipedia that they had been on bmw, and i'm psyched to have found this clip. so cool. :)

  • I love the Monkees! This episode makes me so happy! :D

  • love the monkees and im always a monkees fan

  • Yeah, you guys are way off. That wasn't Mike Nesmith, it was the guy from the Partridge family who played their manager.

  • "Tippy, Tippy, have you been eating meat?"

"...And this Morat sent the band away. And I might have had a meatball."

    Love that line.

  • Sorry but that's not Mike at the end - wish he was in it, but sadly not

  • wait....is..is that Mike Nesmith at the end?!?!?! OMG it is!!!! *squee*

  • Where Sox? Where?!!? Where is Mike?!

  • I'm about 99% sure it's that guy at the end who goes up to the three Monkees and says "you could be bigger than the Beatles." Yeah, it has to be Mike. I know that charming face anywhere! LOL I love Mike he's my favorite!!!!

  • I'm about 99% sure it's that guy at the end who goes up to the three Monkees and says "you could be bigger than the Beatles." Yeah, it has to be Mike. I know that charming face anywhere! LOL I love Mike he's my favorite!!!!

    ================================

No that's not Mike! That's the guy who was in the tv show The Partridge Family

  • Wow really? Wow I could've sworn it was Mike...it looks just like him!!! LOL

  • It's in the credits. He's Dave Madden from The Partridge Family. He played Rueben Kincaid.

    Trust me. I am a Monkees/Partridge Family fan.=]

Had Mike been there, it would have been a bigger deal.

  • Thnx for that info ^-^......but I am a little disappointed that it's not mike...LOL

  • I don't think that was Mike at the end. I think that was the manager that was from the Partridge Family.

  • that is not Mike Nesmith, that is the guy who played Reuben Kincaid on the Partridge Family, Dave Madden....again, that is NOT Mike Nesmith.....

  • Davy has not lost one ounce of him charm! xD

  • bc mike was a director so he didn't join them much. sad huh? anyway. i need to let this out so Peter was EXTREMELY CUTE then :D and he's funny "listen you even drive down my street you're a dead man." lol love ya Peter :) Davy's ok too. don't want to leave him out :) if you watch the whole episode there's a scene where Peter comes in with a guitar and he's all dressed up. i wish i could run up and hug him then <3 ;D great clip. thanks

  • Haha, well the Monkees definitely didn't age like the Beatles. Whereas the Beatles always had either sex appeal or never lost an adorable face. haha.

Any reason Mike didn't join them?

  • Ok why is it everytime Davy says "Reginald Fairfield" I don't know whether I wanna smack him or hug him. LOL Boy was he ever obnoxious in this. But so cute and funny. I love that line about "the little guy doing laps in the hot tub" lol

  • " whos at the door" " Reg.. Reginald Fairfield"

  • i love how no one cheers when they are in the scenes..lol...THE MONKEES? lol....oh no i just showed my age

  • I was thinking that too. Haha, I felt kinda bad.

  • they cheer for micky dolenz lol

  • lol i meant peter tork...dont know what i was thinking when i typed that

  • "You even drive down my street, and you're a dead man"!

    Bigger than the Beatles...

    Thanks for posting!

  • @Monkeefan4life David Madden used to be the manager on a television sitcom "The Partridge Family". That is what they were referring to. Peter Tork, Davy Jones, and Micky Dolenz sound the same, but they look really different when they got older. Does anyone notice that Micky's name added an "E" on the cast list?

  • I miss cute Davy ;.; Oh the Monkees <3333

  • I haven't seen this in a long time! This one was so funny.

  • Peter Tork is still adorable...the other two (and Mike, for that matter, though he wasn't in this episode), not so much...

  • Reg...Reginald Fairfield! lol. The reason why I love this episode.

  • haha same here! lol

  • My favorite episode of BMW~

    The Monkess rock!

  • i saw davey jones tnight!!!

  • ahh!! i love this episode...especially now that i know who the monkees are! haha

  • unfortunately, it's missing my favorite scene where "peter" brings the guitar for the first time, only he forgot the strings

  • OMG thankyou so much for posting this!!!!

  • CLASSIC. I remember watching this episode when it aired (I was seven, eight maybe), and not really getting that it was the Monkees, just recognizing Davy from my mom and uncle watching the Brady Bunch. Now that I adore the Monkees. . . this is just so awesome!

  • If I knew that the Monkees were in BMW I would have watched it.

  • Ha Ha - me too!

  • reg! reginald fairfield!

    lmfao, classic.

  • Who's the guy at the end?

  • he was the manager of the partridge family

  • Peter looks sooo good.

  • Aha,thank you.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I never seem to be able to catch this episode when it's on TV, so this was really the first time I've seen most of that dialogue footage. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! (Do you have any of the other episodes that any of The Monkees appeared in?)

  • They still got it! And Amy, Cory's mom, has a great ass at 7:39.

  • o yeah

  • Cute, cute, cute!

    THANKS so much,

    -- Abbie
