it's nice way of fighting and martial art but you must make it famous and open more branches locally in UAE and other countries ... i think many ppl here IN AJMAN emirate would want to enter it like me
we really need this in America there's to much disrespect to every martial arts here because of all the mcdojo's thanks to the 80's. This would really spread like a fire because of MMA but to me this offers more because it's a budo. I hope we can really rid every fake martial arts by showing them the truth.
A few questions, one I've heard a few times there's a branch in NYC anyone know the address? are knees to the head of an opponent on the ground allowed? like if I sprawl and he's in turtle position could I knee him? are some chokes harder because of the helmet?
It depends, really if hes fully on the ground no, you are only, allowed knees to the body. but if hes in the process of going down after a sprawl then yes. however if your on the bottem hits to the head are allowed.
And for your second question, no the helmet does not make it much harder to choke however it can get in the way.
i dont think they actually hit on the ground in daido juku. they instead implement a point system of "ippon" where the guy throws the punch or kick to the grounded opponent but stops just short. where as in modern mma, full contact ground striking is allowed.
watching this video hurts my heart, i'm still waiting for kudo to start in london, its the most awesome martial art i have ever seen and i have a massive knowledge and understanding of martial arts. this system must produce true warriors.
We are looking to set up a club in London, currently the closest branch to London is the Windosr branch, which runs most of it's classes in Slough, under the UK branch director Master Anas.
1) when are you setting up the london branch and is lee hasdell involved.
2) could you give me the number or website of this master anas, i have searched him in google and also searched daido juku windsor but nothing comes up
3) if you are looking for a place to teach london shootfigters have all the facilities.
dude, if you are seriously intrested, please respond to this message, and we'll sort something out, the Branch Director is in Windsor just outside London and also, Master Conti is near to London, things can be done but we need people like yourself to show and intrest.
i am SERIOUSLY interesting, i've been waiting for lee hasdell to set up a class, i've called him like 10 times and he is taking his time. i guarantee with the right advertising the classes will be popular. please keep in contact and update me with whats going on.
Hi, I live in Dubai and I am desperately searching to find this club. Can you tell me where it is? or give me its contact number?
Also, I just turned 23. I played Taekwondo when I was 15 for couple of months then stopped cause my coach left. I torn the ligament on my knee & had a surgery when I was 17; didn't play sports since then. Is it safe and wise to practice Juku and gradually improve. I just want to learn some basics to throw & then run away should I face some alcoholic on UK streets.
easy mate if ya still looking, the kudo class is in Al Safa, the karate centre and sometimes the black belt centre SZR. (matvey takes the class). 7.30 Sat, Mon, Thurs. safe, J
first you must have fighters already, any style will do as long as its full-contact. Then you must communicate with the Daido Juku HQ in Japan. And then Jukocho and some japanese fighters will come to hold a seminar to judge if you are "allowed" to open a branch.
Congratulations on the tournament win, I'm going to compete in the swedish championship in may, if I win I might be going to Latvia. I'm going to compete in the under 18 division in the 55 or 60 kg group :)
hi this video is great. there were lot of ma friend, coz i was a student before 4 years a ago in sri lanka. best and most hard style of karate is daido juku...love love it..this is been ma life in one period...
It's in Dubai Karate Center on Al Wasl Road, not far from Emirates bank, for more details you can call +971 50 48 30 382 or 050 48 30 382 if you are in the UAE already.
Not really, but of course helps a lot since Kudo is built on Kyokushin and Judo. It takes a pretty long time to get a black belt. The exam involves a physical strength test depending on the rank you want to achieve and varying numbers and types of fights to advance. For the 1st dan my sensei needed to fight 6 Kudo fights and 4 Kyokushin fights or something. I think the ranking system should be explained on wiki or something

daido juku is still a version of mma though

greetings my friend, to respond to your questions:
1) We don't currently have a date yet, and Lee may or may not be involved (it's really up to him)
2) as for the number of master anas, pm me and i'll give you that God willing.
3) London shootfighters is a great idea as it is relatively close to us, so we will get in contact with them.
Hopefully you can come down to Windsor/Slough and check out the action in the advanced class and help us set up in London.
