Also best album ever (One Size fits all)I actually saw Zappa at the Armadillo HQ's in Austin Texas mid 70s. Someone called a bomb- threat (absolute truth) and mid-song Zappa snapped his fingers and the music stopped dead right in the middle of a sax solo.We all thought Zappa was joking but he finely convinced all of us to leave the building. After around 1 1/2 hrs the police left and we all filed back in.Zappa snapped his fingers and they started on the same saxaphone note that they left off at.

I agree 100%, you just CANNOT cut out a guitar solo from the greatest rock guitarist EVER!! When I was growing up, my Dad would not allow any talking what-so-ever during 1 of Frank's solos, if U did, U would get flicked on the head, HARD!!

I was lucky enough to be in a band that supported this Zappa lineup at the Lpool Stadium(in my opinion his best ever lineup)

He counted the band in on one of the tunes (Inca roads) i think and the band totally f***ed it up. He stopped the band and remonstrated with them (in a pisstake way of course) and counted them back in. It was perfect. I'll never forget that moment as it showed me they were human after all!!

THE best rock band ever. Superhuman musicianship, great individuality/humour/sarcasm/a­vante garde etc. George Duke, Chester Thompson, Ralph Humphreys. THE best rock album ever 'Overnite Sensation'.
