the And They Walked Away VHS was something to watch stupid crash stunts and stupider crasher. EJ Utley I salute you ad all those on those And They Walked Away, Saturdays watching that video just seem so far away now!!
I go to Dover for NASCAR races . Would love to see the big rigs race there . I think it was in the early 80's for that clip Because there's no stands in turn 3 & 4
Brian France and the rest of the funnypeople @ Nascar, FOX, TNT and ESPN should watch some old American Sports Calvecade and listen how it was done.................oh wait, they did watch it just like us.
@DamnStraightM35A2 actually it wasn't that (and only like 3 drivers actually complained about it). The reason this form of racing at the big ovals ended was being the government started lobbying against it, saying that this kind of racing caused too much pollution. They offered tracks like Dover extra funding to build new stands and whatnot if they stopped hosting the races. Mainly our American government did this. In most other countries, semi racing still exists and is actually popular.
i wonder if this was made in the 80s?

@sjaderlund well, NASCAR drivers were the ones to bitch about how the trucks were wrecking the tracks, so the tracks stopped hosting them...

@erasetoimprove
Interesting to know that.
I always wondered why they stopped going to Pocono, I know the trucks broke the wall in Turn 1 there a couple of times.

I wish they still had semi truck racing, this was an awesome sport to watch! Trucks today are plastic! They wouldnt survuve ten laps on a race track.
