And I know a lot of mormons that are African American. This guy in my ward and his whole family are some of the strongest mormons i know. So don't hate. We don't hate you. And...it's not propaganda. If those little things in the Church's history is making your heart so hard you can't listen to the LDS church's message, then I feel really bad for you cuz you're missing out on the blessings we receive.

I don't know about some of the things in the Church's past or why the Lord let them happen. But I do know that this gospel brings me happiness. An eternal happiness. I don't want to argue anymore. The Church is open about these things. Though you don't share our beliefs, see that the Church works to be a positive force for good in this world; to help others, even when those others aren't LDS.
