This is one of my favourite songs in the world, but it is 10 times better done in the original language! Singing it in english takes away from its beauty- I wish more countries would sing in their native language in eurovision (and I'm British!)

I loved this song... this one and the Norway one and the Sebastian Tellier French one. What the hell was it with Russia? That stupid skating guy? ANNOYING.
atleast its a change from those gay russians who spent thefirst minute lying on the ground. really lying on the ground is great choreography. this is a little something called experimental and why did you look it up just to say its bad no-one cares that u don't like infact no-one gives a damn what you think . ever heard of the saying if you dont haveanything nice to say dont say anything at all.
many countries all seem to be the same nowadays, trying to copy some kind of pop group format - these people are clearly of their heads on something... best entry for 2008
I'm from the UK but yeh...It sounds better in their language :) (Still an Amazing Song though) Well done B&H x

don't come down from CARDAK*/and do not ask me where was i/why my eyes are filled with tears/and why did i cry
i stood by the grave/and i called my dead mother/i was bringing her a present from my heart/but i could not give it to her
do not rattle with your clogs/while you are coming down from CARDAK*/every time,my dear, i think my old mother is coming
CARDAK-no clue what's english word for this, something like loggia tipical for old bosnian houses turkish style

Thank you so much for your help, that's the last piece in the puzzle.
Thanks to your efforts and the efforts of a few other people, the worst version of the song now comes with the most informative comments.
From what you say, "cardaka" sounds like it may be a loft or attic room?
Anyway, we've got the person not coming down from the cardaka bez ljubavi and the monkeys not able to come down from the trees bez ljubavi.

I really love this english version. Umbrella choreography is great but I liked also that what was in the finals. The best Eurovision 2008 song <3

That's what makes Eurovision what it is... doesn't it?

LOL... this is what Eurovision is all about.
many countries all seem to be the same nowadays, trying to copy some kind of pop group format - these people are clearly of their heads on something... best entry for 2008

Great, one of the best eurovision songs ever. Good luck! 5 stars for a awesome song.

Performance might have been a bit too 'whacky' for some, but the song was streets ahead of anything. Pity it's not a song contest.

I hate that.

It was the best song and performance in the 2008 Eurovision contest!!
A pity that the european taste is so weak voting for horible songs like the ones from Russia or Greece!!

Yea. I hate those little countries who vote for each other...
This song was the greatest song i've ever heard in eurovision!
