This may be the US but in Europe evrything needs to be electric fused maybe in Tsjechia there will be fire-fused fw but thsi seems dangerous.

U can get those mortars at your local PVC/HDPE retailer...

Yes, you are absolutely right!!! I am working for medium sized company (in czech republic) as well and hand light is unaccetable!!!! We use electronic firing system.

I think hand light is for ameteurs only.

The Show I help shoot is too small to afford the firing system as it would cost almost 1/3 for the shows budget. The local township would rather have us spend the money on more shells

Parking lot shows are nice and easy to clean up from -- sometimes the town will just send in a street sweeper, afterwards! All you have to do is find anything with pyro in it and bag the racks, at the end.

yeah that was a nice film, but why do it like that?? i know an pyrotechnican here in sweden, they have like computer controled shows, they make a scedual and then the bombs go of and everyone can watch from a safe distance,!
