Why was he being detained? Once you are being given an order by law enforcement, no matter whether we agree or not, you must obey or you are breaking the law.

Of course there were no charges brought on the officers, what do you think is going to happen. Cops do what they want, and cover their ass. it is the American Way. All of this TSA mumbo jumbo, as if they took not getting the boarding pass in time as a terrorist activity. The problem is the officers are trained to use this force, and when not given the opportunity they are itching to put their foot in somebodies ass. The TSA folks are only doing the job they were trained for. They are undermanned and it is an issue being worked on by the same govt that pays SGT England. He's a big guy. I'm guessing that he raised his voice enough to intimidate the officer. Seeing as the officer needed to control the situation he pulled out his baton (escalation).

This could've been avoided if theTSA AGENT had shown his military ID. SGT ENGLAND had a right to inquire about missed flight. I stopped flying because of cop wanna be TSA agents. The SGT missed a flight over a sprite. I don't blame the SGT for being upset.

SGT ENGLAND missed his flight because he caught a TSA AGENT in a lie. The TSA AGENT was impersonating a military officer. Why hasn't the SGT been charged with federal or state felony or misdemeanor charges? This incident looks and sounds like a cover up to me.

I stand behind this soldier, I call foul on the cops for excessive force and hope the ACLU takes a stance against unwarranted tasers usage. Tasers were initially introduced as a alternative means to deadly force against a deadly threat, now tasers have become a means of convenient compliance.
