@eddieyahooable SECRETARIAT was amazing! I'm sad he had to be put down with the disease he had in his hooves. He was a great horse. ZENNY is also amazing! but actually third best horse in horse racing history, next to Man O' War, and Animal Kingdom. I think Sham was right behind ZENNY instead of Animal Kingdom though. I don't own any horses, but i know a lot about them! :)

I read up on both sham and Sec... and I learned that the average racehorses heart weighs about 8-9 lbs. where Shams was 18lbs and Secretariat's was 22lbs. No wonder he flew like a falcon in the sky! I missed out on following Zenyetta, but I am watching this year. Well hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

@eddieyahooable You too! I just watched Secretariat kick Sham's sorry butt! They were both great horses, but truly, Secretariat is number one! Secretariats birthday is on or after my older sisters birthday too! March 29th or 30th. my sister's is on the 29th.

@myhorses4ever Dear goodness no! She's only like 6 1/2 y/o. It's just that racehorses retire at a super young age, so it was her time to go :( But she's alive and healthy and happy and doing great. She still thinks she's a yearling though so she spends most of her time eating apples and running around in her pasture (:
