also keep this in mind the slayer is1/10 scale and the SC8 is 1/8 scale........... that is why the SC8 has bigger motor and the reason why the price is so different between the two, SC8 $544 and Slayer about $375!!!!!!!!!
how many clubs are racing these bad boys. thinking about stepping it up to 1/8 scale. hell just wanna get back to race them all together have a nitro rustler dont see many races with them seen alot of rc10gt2. my old 10t did good racing.
im trying to get a sc8 but im having trobbe fidding a sc8 for $300 i looked on ebay and craiglist cant find one so if you have one plese reply remeber oliy $300 or less can be used
OK you guys whos better? (stock w/ no modifications) I am about to puchase one of these but I can't find ANY specs that prove one is better. The Traxxas owners swear its better and vice versa. Are thyere any non BIAS opions from a nutural person or testing agency? I am not experienced enough to know what to judge product quality and/or durability. I could use some HELP PLEASE. (I can't afford to buy both!)
Nice Job! We loved playing with our SC8 on a gravel BMX track in the UK, as we don't have any Sand/Shale/Clay tracks. But we gave it a good test all the same, check it out (and the slow mo bloopers - That's one tough truck!)
I really like the low angle camera shots and the slow motion footage. Nicely done. : ) The track looks perfect for these trucks...I wish I could drive with you guys!
does hobby town usa carry the sc8? because i hate ordering online.

@fordawsome100
If you haven't gotten an anwser yet, you can buy an SC8 from a hobby shop. That's where I got mine.

Great vid and cool tunes, although I cant see much difference in performance on the slayer over the sc8?

slayer has better speed but sc8 has more power and looks in the slayer its a .20 motor and in the sc8 is a .28
