  • You are my favorite teacher.

  • why do you take old videos down ? I'm intrigued by this

  • we're doing homework on fulltiming. the only scarey thing about living this way, in our situation, is fueling. even with all the fuel saving ideas and solar technology, one will eventually have to refuel. that's where I get nervous.

  • what a bargain. you did good.

  • Until its bug-out time, you've got a neat little vacation vehicle. Have you thought about towing a small trailer with extra supplies (gas, water, oil, tools, food... ammo? lol Just a thought :)

  • great find...you got lucky homes...looking for one myself atm...hope I can find one like that

  • If you don't plan on driving it you will be fine. At best 6mpg, so you will spend a ton of money on gas. The best thing about it is the generator.

  • good work man !!!

  • in missouri id say the average house payments are around 500.00- 800.00 a month

  • Sweet 80's Ford I am looking at one here on Vancouver Island for $700. It has A good 460CI & C6. Cab & Chassis near rust free but the RV part has dry rot. If I buy it I will be busy!!!

  • excellent condition.

  • You found the Unicorn of RVs.

The quintessential "1968 fastback in a barn".

The miles, the previous owner, the condition and your timing to buy it - ideal.

  • I have a 1979 Dodge Class C that I have Torn all the way down to the frame and rebuilt it back, It has the 440 with a 727 trans alone with a 5500 watt Onan Marquis, Everything is brand new, You sure got a nice old RV and it is a classic.

  • which is better? RV or van? what if you have to travel to/from campsite?

  • gonna be tough taking that thing off-road though. you'd be better off getting a truck with a bed topper. better on gas than an rv, and much more versatile.

  • they are not that cheap here in ny even an old one.

  • I worked for several rv dealerships and just remember they can break down very easily and use lots of gas or a truck uses lots of gas that you may need to pull one. but its a good idea to have one to live in. You do not want to break down on the road when SHTF. but still a good idea. God Bless us all when this time does come and it will come without a doubt.

  • I just purchased a 25 year old class C mini motorhome for $2,800.00 and I am putting in a new generator and propane system for the very reason you have mentioned.

  • That is a nice Tioga. You got a great deal.

  • You mentioned that things are better in the country? You sir have no idea what your talking about

  • Fyugly

  • Yo, a client who worked for the school system lost his job out here. HOES are quitting their jobs. You know it's bad. A few I know of who are former strippers at the BADDEST. most expensive clubs quit.

  • Thanks for the interesting videos Gary. The van at Walmart is a great video,.

  • It's sad what's happening to families the survivalist have been telling us for years this was coming.

  • Of course you don't here about homeless families living in RV's or otherwise in California. All you here on the media is about beautiful, rich, degenerate, and drugged out celebrities. True fact: only 12 percent of the residents of Los Angeles County own their own homes. Everybody else rents. LA is a city full of poor people just trying to survive.

  • @4289twelve Yes its full of poor people trying to survive but if they had common sense they would move to a place that rent did not cost thousands for a 1 room apartment .

  • A guy I used to work with had 5 homes at one point and got a splash of reality in 2009, lost all homes got a job with my company and was miserable because of the bank's predatory demeanor. Long story short, he bought an RV and parked it at an RV park. The change on his face was instant and it's been 2 years. He's able to start his own business and he's the happiest he's been in a long time....He lives there with his wife and two kids. Thanks for the videos man.

  • 3000$!? You scored!!

  • Good job man keep up the good work. alternative living is the way to go. I wonder why no one is accountable for this big mess someone should be in jail. I also don't know if you realize but some of the banks don't even know who owns the debt so make sure you ask if they can't tell you they can't kick you out. look at 60 minutes they did a big show on it. stay safe and god bless communal living forever.

  • I'm 23 and I actually googled up Motorhome and found this video. My plan is to live in a motor home on a friend's property while I save up enough money to just pay cash for a smaller house. The R/V i'm looking at is an early 90s model and costs around 6 grand. I'll probably save up for two or three years for a small ranch style home. Forget the 30 years of slavery to the bank. I think thats the problem with my generation, we want everything quick and will live off of borrowed credit...sigh.

  • Nice! I have a 1986 Toyota Huntsman. 42,000miles, 22RE engine, auto. I have been staying in it for a few months. Going to have to get a bigger one though for travel with 4 adults.I think hard times are around the corner. Keep up the good work.

  • Nice video! Good to see some level headed/well rounded people on youtube. :)

  • whats the footage on this motorrhome

great stuff about to buy 1 myself

  • excellent find. super clean to.

  • Congradulations! I'm less than one month away from being completly debt free and my mind is now switching gears on saving my money and going out and investing into larger things such as this.

  • I like it, very clean.

  • Nice score! I personally love Tiogas! Would that be able to tow 1800 to 2500 pds? Warmly, Laurie

  • clean it, damn that was a find like zekehooper said this thing is cherry

  • Dude! How cherry is that RV! I saw your van vid and that was cool, but not as cool as this. I so want one like this.

  • Smart investment right there ! I agree with living off the gridand getting educated on it because you never know what can happen. if I owned a camper like that my CB would be going in there and I am now studying for my ham radio license which I would have with me at ALL times and that is something else I would put in there as a means to communicate with the outside world and I WILL BE watching your other videos on here. Keep up the good work !

  • Time to suplement with solar pannels and rain collection!!!!!!! Nice looking RV. I think it will do you right friend!!!

  • You got a great deal. Awesome.

  • it's the terminator! LOL

  • Ha my b day yea

  • Good for you man, search long enough and you'll get exactly what you want! When I am old enough to drive, I was looking at a good 4x4 truck or a jeep or something. But an RV would be great. Awesome Mobile Home man! Looks really nice.

  • Excellent. Thanks!

  • Economy sucks here in Oregon too.Moving into my RV soon.Look forward to the freedom. Not looking forward to the gas prices.Starting to go up alot here.

  • Nice man! I just got my own survival RV as well. Just gotta fix it up a little and I'll be good to go.

  • Here is the world's smallest violin for those McMansion buyers in CA! I hope they get eaten by their ARMs!

  • Nice! I'm thinking of converting an older 6.5L Diesel GMC Suburban into a living quarters and live in one of those communities. Reason being is that I like the mobility of the 4x4 and diesel is just the way to go IMHO. I'm a single guy and I want to get out of my apartment and learn to live with less and with more sustainability. I'd like to find a way to put a Motorcycle in the back while I travel so that I can park the SUV and still get around while blending in as you've said!

  • What about solar power

  • UPDATE UPDATE...We need an UPDATE on this. Did you get rid of it when you got the new Lance Camper or are you still working on it?

  • PLEASE PUT ALL YOUR OLD VIDEOS UP, These videos are educational unlike most of the junk on this site, alot of people me included love to learn from others. Is there a reason you take your old videos down? Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • Sorry to break the news to you but that does have a brain on it for the HEI ignition.

  • I'm curious as to why you take your videos down. I would think having a good archive would be valuable. Anyway, I really like your videos. They are very helpful.

  • Sir, don't take this wrong please but why are you holding on to California so tight? I moved from Escondido Ca, to the foothills of NC. Things are WAY easier here. Land is still cheap. you can get an old farm house here cheap. save up and get out. Raise your own meat & food.

  • @KevCal510 So is MICHIGAN ! Thats what THEY GET for ELECTING a LIBERAL for governor TWICE IN A ROW !! 8 YRS for WELFARE HANDOUTS that bankrupted the state! On WE THE PEOPLES (WORKING) CLASS TAX DOLLARS !! FUNNY ! They got what THEY WANTED !! NOW the rest of us PICK UP THE TAB !!

  • Very nice find. More like steal. The wife and I have looked at these, but lots of lost space, since we're kind of efficiency bugs. We picked up a great deal on a 2000 stepvan, an old DHL, in perfect condition; gas with low miles and twelve feet of open space for all kinds of mods. We're in the process of insulating it now and hope to have the basic ammenities installed, but will lots of storage for supplies. Necessity is the mother of invention. Good luck with yours.

  • great vid man

  • Absolutelyn unreal deal. Glad to see a guy like you get it, someone that will appreciate it and take care of it. $3000? Man you knoiw how to make a guy drool. Glad to see you back Gary. You do great work.!! Enjoy it.

  • Big time score! Sorry to here about your friend's miss fortunes. This vehicle is screaming to be 'personalized'. I trust you'll do your thing!

  • I pay $0 a month mortgage, it's called home ownership. Also, his wife liked to live that lifestyle..sucks for your friend for marrying some money hungry bitch. Lol - I think it's funny that people are living in parking lots and campgrounds with their families in RV's, although if the economy wasn't in such shit, the people up north of us would call us "white trash" and idiots for doing so. Now that we've done that, lived for free, we now own homes. No debt for us. White trash isn't it? Lol

  • Dude, I'm looking for one myself now. California sets the tone for the rest of the nation. I think I'll get mine now.

PS - what happened to all your other videos?

  • Off the grid living for RVs is fairly common. Look for something called boondockers. They are people who take their RV and park in the middle of nowhere for months at a time.

  • @ogunshi Thanks for the comment. Take care.

  • if i had an rv i wouldnt bother with a house owning or renting. yours looks nice gary. now is it diesel or gas? im lookng for a small diesel generator. im experimenting with some homemade portable windmills. i have a homemade solar heating system now for camper size. my popup is still being worked on had some other projects gain more importance but is getting there. need to break down andget a new canvase for it.

  • @FixedByDoc Good to hear from you again Ryan. Take care.

  • this is why i rent. i pay $415 per month for rent & about $300-$350 tops in bills & insurance $765 cost of living. i do have other income which all goes toward preparedness & just staying ahead & good ole fun in the sun stuff. i cant understand why anyone would live in a place where you cant afford to live for less than $1000 per family of 2 ppl with 2 dogs & 3 ferrets at least thats what i have. my house is a 3 br with full basment & a garage. there are 1000's here empty & available.

  • @FixedByDoc I agree with you 100%!

  • Great deal you got there !!! Just ordered a new canvas for my pop-up , trying to get my bases covered in case I need to bug out ... Hope that I dont have to leave my little spot in paradise ... keep safe and may God bless ...

  • @1mrgasgas1 Stay safe my friend. Glad to hear your pop top camper is getting prepared. Take care.

  • Parents had a 84 Ford Econoline RV for a couple years a dozen years ago, really liked that thing except for the 460 engine it had. Horrible gas mileage, but it was self contained. Hard-sided RVs and campers are needed in cold weather areas. I can't even think how much it will suck if we had to BO during the winter.

  • @hallard069 I agree with you. Bugging out in winter will suck. Take care.

  • Great info Bug Out. I am 20 miles south of you. Looks like a good time to get out of California! People can see Slap City on YouTube for those in need.

  • @windy1one Thanks for the comment. I need to get the hell out of here ASAP. California is going down fast. Take care.

  • Great info Gary, always look forward to your video's. If you ever need a place to bugout to in Iowa let me know.

  • @vaughnmauser Awesome! I might just take you up on your offer someday. Thanks buddy. See ya.

  • can we go camping?

  • Awesome video. Also, no computer/fuel inj. = no probs. if EMP. You have a great vehicle!

  • @HyperInflationNation Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it. Take care.

  • Fifty only? Here in Miami try thousands., LOL

  • @whereispg WOW Miami is expensive. Take care.

  • What does fuel injected mean? Sorry, I know nothing about cars.

  • @AndrewXAnarchy Fuel Injection(very hard to repair) is on all new cars for fuel delivery instread of a carb. The older cars will run after a EMP and easier to work on and maintain. Take care.

  • @BugOutVehicles Wouldn't the battery of the car come into place? Or does that just run the radio.

  • nice RV good to see ya

  • @TheVTHILLBILLY Thaks man. See ya. Stay safe

  • turn the bugout trailer into a fuel hauler add 250 gal tank in that then have 3000 mi range

  • @dsarti1 I might just do that. Stay safe in Tennessee. Did I spell that right???

  • Very Nice! I am working on my camper to get it fixed up.

  • @rickedwards55 Awesome. Take some pictures of your camper and send them my way!

  • you got a great deal

  • @phantomcharger Thanks. See ya

  • Nice deal, glad your back.

  • @GrumpyCoffee Thanks for the comment. It is good to be back.

  • im just glad i got out when i did, houston is slow but id say we are doing far better than most areas

  • @cbr6864 Glad to hear your doing good. Stay safe.

  • Gary, do you think you can go out to the Walmart and do some interviews?

  • @Floridaprepper I will do that. Look for it in the near future. Good idea!! Take care

  • Nice grab!

  • @3charter Thanks man. Take care

  • will you really consider putting the vids back up your stuff is good for referencing. thanks

  • @fatdan172501 I will probably put some back up. Thanks

  • @BugOutVehicles every last one of them please lol. its outstanding work

  • Great Camper Gary hope to see more of it take care ....

  • @VE9REJ Thanks Reg. Take care buddy

  • very nice. Would have bought that in a heartbeat.

  • @vonhismean Thanks. take care buddy.

  • nice buy

  • @superdznuts99 Thanks. Take care

  • nice! a shot with some earth tone paint, and some camo nets and you'll disappear into the woods. Good find!

  • @adventurek9 Thanks for the comment. I have my flat paint ready to go! See ya. Be safe.

  • @adventurek9 make sure it is deep in and away from wear they grow weed.

  • nice little R.V. there. We have a older Tioga. Had to do a lot of work on that one to get it the way I wanted it but it will hold me and mine if worst comes to worst. I gets about 12-15 mpg, when towing the trailer it gets little over 10mpg. What I will do is have another 50 gallons of fuel in the trailer for it so I can get that much. Well any way great score on that deal. Be safe.

  • Isnt' this the RV from the movie 2012?

The only problem with an RV is that it needs fuel to run.

    -TEW

  • @theeastwatch I agree. Fuel is a problem.Take care.

  • @BugOutVehicles Take a look at some of the sites here about HHO. Even if you can increase your fuel efficiency by 10%, that is a significant savings.

(Try hhoforvolts, higherpoweredh20, hhoball, or type in "Smack". They all have some good info)

  • @BugOutVehicles maybe have a hybrid engine? that could be a solution. or make the engine run purely on electricity.

  • @theeastwatch you only need enuff fuel to get you where you are going. 300miles usually. you cant rely of fuel in a post zombie appocolypse. because fuel only stays stable for a year. two tops. after that it turns into turpintine. so learn to live without it. or learn to convert to methane

  • @amyhuk If you're only planning to use an RV to bug out to a bug out location, then you might as well use a faster, tougher, more fuel efficient vehicle.

The point of a RV is to "stay mobile" and be able to carry the amenities of home where ever you go - basically, the RV becomes your bugout location.

    -TEW

  • @theeastwatch no the point of an rv is to be mobile just long enuff to find a place to lay low. and then have SHELTER till you can build a more permanent dwelling. and grow crops make gun powder and moonshine. raise goats and chickens. cant do all that on a motor bike or a small sedan. fuel efficency is irrelivent as replenishment is probably impossible with out modification. so its more important to stock on FRESH WATER than fuel. just know how far you can go on one tank

  • @theeastwatch Not the trailer versions

  • great camper!!

  • @recon66661 Thanks . Take care

  • Very nice RV....I really like the way you think!!!!

Yes, that generator is almost worth the 3K you paid for the RV.

You are doing all the right things....

  • @DeathOfTheDollar2010 Thanks for the comment. Take care

  • SWEET setup, like ive said before my camper has saved y *ass! (currently, have lived in it for 1.5 years) ..[1972 chev c-20,with '62 cave camper] wish i had a slab city near me.. i pay 200 a month to live behind someones house LOL... im glad you delete your older vids, allowed me to post so many identifiable things this time knowing [hoping] it wont be in stone without me deleting it :)

Going to go beg for one of my old jobs back 2mro morn (left on good terms)

    Wish me luck!

  • @timmylc Thanks for the comment. Good luck buddy. Glad to hear your camper keeps you safe. Take care
