@mrwill2211 there are very few dumbasses that put tips like that on diesels. Yes the size but the shape is wrong three quarters of diesel tips aren't cut off at a 45° angle
not the biggest.. definetly not "ricer" either... its only one mod away from strictly a drag car and thats a set of tires. Its nice to see a car with some originality at the drag strip. biggest ive seen on a car.... Diesel trucks however... we all know how big those exhaust pipes get.. it's like as wide as chuck norris's fist.
@ThisWillLeaveaMark Thanks for clearing that up. I installed twin turbos in my GTO bringing the HP to 650/700lbs of torque. I had to stiffen the chassis a lot. You too have a lot of torque, what bracing have you done?
@ThisWillLeaveaMark Whoa, that's a monstrous amount of torque. So far, only boxed frame, and stock F41 bracing ie. a crossbar in front of the rad, jounce bars/ fender to rad support bars, and behind the seat factory bracing. I need to stiffen the frame up before letting her go, that's my next job ... looking for pointers too so lemme know if you have any bro. Cheers.
@LittleDragon77 My car is unibody. I have spent more time and effort stiffening the chassis than any other project. You boxed the frame is a big one it adds a ton of strength. The trans cross member can be upgraded to add strength. A brace that incorporates the drive shaft loop helps too. I added tubing that attachés to the firewall & runs inside the front fenders to a stronger radiator mount too. A small roll cage to tie the front to the rear is next on my list.
@ThisWillLeaveaMark Ahh thanks for the tips. I do have a tubular aftermarket crossmember installed. Dunno if it helps in twisting, but I have front/rear aftermarket anti-sway bars. I'm hoping to add at least another custom fabbed setup over the engine bay, and a small roll-bar near mid frame.

@Tj1056 See watch?v=ee4jSFLjjWA for a closer look. They're 6". I had 4" on my last GP.

Largest Exhaust? I have a 3" SS Magnaflow X pipe system in my '05 GTO wasn't a special order. The Corvettes all have 3" systems.

@ThisWillLeaveaMark true, the title is unclear, it's about the 6" x 24" tips
