  • i was hoping for the guy to get bit. :)

  • When he was messing with the cobra, I hope he knew that cobras can spit poison.

  • @Ngelcanfly not all can jest one kind:)

  • wow he has head protection stand of his legs and arms.

  • such a great looking snake

  • The thumbnail of this video looked like someones ass without a crack

  • Snake: When I bite ur ass I ain't gonna say nothn so leave me alone

  • ur crazy !!!!

  • LOL are u crazy!?!?

  • What are you doing messing with the snake like that? It was just crossing the street, minding its own business, and then you come along and ruin the day.

  • wow, your brave. I would run away.....lol(:

  • I am enjoying your cautiousness and your effort for uploading these Great videos….!!! I myself is a snake lover and i know how you feel handling this monocle.

    She is a Beauty….; in ‘Bangladesh’ have the same species (Naja kaouthia) but sadly they are hard to find due to habitat loss……;

    with best wishes…sAs.

  • Most people would never get that close 2 it for that long. and u have shorts on. wow.

  • Come on dude! Be a man! Kiss it like they do in India!

  • @nadoeloiskat You have to be a serious gangsta to do that though

  • Kind of cute !

  • if u pay me 1 mil cash, gimme 5 hot chicks n Brad Pitts villa in LA, id start thinking about getting that close to a cobra. But the video was awesome keep uploading.

  • stop shaving your legs, man, chicks don't dig it

  • Omg.. That thing is cute.

  • Dam leave it alone!!!!! Play with your own!!!

  • BEEP BEEP (Truck runs over Cobra)

  • a cobra! one of the most dangerous snakes in the world... imma poke it with a stick

  • I hate ssnakes, and if i was driving and saw it on the road i would have run over it..

  • Okay i hate snakes and if i saw it on the road, i would have run over it...

  • leave the poor snake alone i dont think you'd be very happy if somethin big and scary was pokin you with a stick and this is exactly how u hear of people gettin bit you had shorts on that snake coulda went right over n bit ya man..

  • Just some constructive critisism, if your not aware of what the snake is capable of doing, such as being a spitting cobra, then you probably aren't experienced enough to be handling that creature lol, I'm not bitching, in fact I enjoyed the video and the extent you went to just to protect yourself. And no, Monacled Cobras aren't spitters ;) but I'm sure your aware of that already :)

  • @littlebrittle18 Lol, this is like the 7th comment about that... I've deleted a bunch of them. You're seeing it from the perspective of the camera guy. When I first saw it I couldn't see the monocle on the back of his neck because he wasn't flared up. I wasn't able to get a good look for a while. That being the case, there was no way I was going to risk getting spit in the eye. I was just on the motorbike and jumped off - my helmet is for the mbike -not for spitting cobras. lol.

  • @littlebrittle18 thats a bug guard for the bike

  • leave it alone. we've all see this on discovery channel a million times already. it's dangerous to stop your scooter on a wet motorway anyhow.

  • @Rogueek yeah, so watch it again.. what are you watching this stuff for over and over... you have some fascination with the subject? Me too.

  • @thaipulsedotcom - you win. mail me the next one you find please.

  • surprisingly awesome clip. Thanks for sharing. I don't think I'd be that brave if I saw a cobra in the road while driving my motorcycle. I get nervous just seeing a sugar cane leaf in the road :)

  • The only good snake is a dead snake. Thumbs up anyone?

  • @MrChancellor15 You just got my +1

  • its a cobra!! kill it!!!....NO WAIT wait!! its a baby.......AWwwwww its just a baby cobra KILL ITT!!!!

  • @TheBlair90 lol!!!

  • aww its so cute the way it gets pissed off and stands up...i just wanna hug it but then i know i mite die so yeah

  • laugh if he gets bit

  • I'm just waiting for that snake to bite that guy with the stick -_-

  • I was waiting for him to bum rush the guy's knee caps, but I guess as you said, they'd rather aim high than low. cool video, though.

  • In the raining-season you will have many of them inside your house...I like snakes, but I don`t like to share my bedroom with them!

  • @kobaeins

what do you mean inside the house? How would they get in?

  • Awesome video...but the LAST place I would want to be in the hospital for a snake bite is in a third-world country like Thailand!!

  • what cam did u use to record this?

  • lucky for you its not a king cobra but anyway cute snake

  • why do you have that helmet?

have never heard that monocleds spit... or am i wrong?

  • @7muktar I just got off the motorbike... and nobody knew it was a monocled until we saw the back of the head... AND some that look like monocled in TH - spit.

  • LOVE your video! i have kept many venomous snakes , including monical cobras. you did a great job "sticking" him, and pretty wise to shield your eyes until you were sure. great clips, keep 'em coming.

  • monocle cobra one of the more agressive pet cobras but the mian cobra in the pet trade

  • so pretty! Fiesty lil sucker! At certain parts in the begining it looks like he's sinking into the ground. :D

  • i was scared for you man,.hehe, just like what you said, its beautiful

  • wow you are really lucky even when its that young and at that size it could still kill with one bite I can't believe you didnt get bitten o.0

  • Awesome footage. Super cute snake. I can imagine what he's thinking every time he tries to escape and ends up in the same place. Lol. Must be frustrating. "Damn you human, I know you're the one making this happen to me."

  • OH MY GOD!

Thats like the cutest thing EVER!

  • Eventhough you didn't do anything bad to the snake, I think animals shouldn't be bothered at all.

The cobra was trying to go away, and you didn't let it do it. It's a beautiful animal, but I don't like that people bother animals.

    It's just my opinion.

  • @r9m3 And I have to wonder if you have ever had an animal in captivity... dog, cat, fish, turtle, hermit crab, bird, etc. Do you eat fish? Meat? Chicken? Crab? Shell-fish? Lobster? Probably they all want to be left alone too.

  • @thaipulsedotcom yes, when I was child I had a dog. Not now. Yes, I eat all of them except lobster because it is not cheap here in my city. And I agree with you, there is no right for me or any body else to eat them. You are right.

    Hugs buddy.

  • @thaipulsedotcom: yes only vegetarians have a real respect for all animals, humans included

  • @thaipulsedotcom I just wonder how tired you must be of some very stupid comments and judgment some people like so, much to give lessons to others that make them feel good about themselves a bit superior they are just boring and irritating

  • @dumdum5 it's funny - I must have had 50 comments from people that thought I was harassing the hell out of the snake. I wasn't teasing it with the stick. I wasn't putting it in a dangerous situation. I wasn't harming it. I was looking at it... Some readers called me things that were flat out astounding... oh well, right? Some of these same clowns "own" cats, dogs, fish, and birds. lol...

  • @thaipulsedotcom Totally agree with you man

  • @r9m3 the crocadile hunter did the same thing so blah!

  • @r9m3 If you buy meat that came from a slaughterhouse, your opinion is invalid.

  • @r9m3 he just wanted to look at it. The cobra should be glad he didn't stomp on it. No harm, no foul.

  • You are incorrect about cobra's being aggressive.

Cobra's are shy and will easily try to escape any harm, quickly exiting and only striking if cornered.

I live in Ban Klong Tong Nuea, about ten kilometers from Sadao and have seen numerous cobras in the area, along with reticulated pythons and other rather nasty tree snakes.

Nice video. My video turned out grainy and too dark, yours was outside (I found my cobra in the damn house) so you had the benefit of good lighting.

    jimbad1

  • @jimbad1 Right. But, you're incorrect about the tree snakes being "nasty". They have no animosity toward you or anyone else, they are just doing what they are programmed to do.

I often say 'aggressive' and I've heard herpetologists say the same thing. It's wrong, the snakes are defensive, and they are ready to bite. Besides the copperheaded racer and King Cobras I've not had any snakes advance toward me in in order to strike. Even then - they were being defensive because I provoked it.

  • @jimbad1 quite right [though no apostrophe is needed ... it is COBRAS, not COBRA'S]

  • @jimbad1

How does a cobra get into your house? Just wondering? I have spent many months in Thailand and would be on the next plane home if I ever saw a snake inside where I was living, cobra or any kind of snake?!

  • @chadley6916 open doors, windows, and through drains... there are lots of holes in ceilings and walls in Thai homes...

  • @thaipulsedotcom

That's not very reassuring! I have been to Thailand several times and spent many months there. I plan to live there for part of the year at some point in the future. But knowing THIS, I don't think I could do it, if I ever saw a snake there, I would freak the f_ck out.

  • I'd beat it to death instead of it beating me to death.

  • Wait for it... Wait for it... Wait for it!... Nope no Darwin award :(

  • what a regal animal...got to admire and respect its beauty

  • Incredible videos you got there sir! =)

  • big enough to kill from 4" long, and they will spit venom just look at many dogs eyes in Thailand.

  • i think it knew you didnt want to hurt it , it looked more playful than aggressive towards the end

  • i think it knew you didnt want to hurt it

  • that's is a naja kaouthia

  • she's can kill you dude

  • AWWWWWWWWWWW!!! :3

The cobra must be thinking: "GODDAMN STICK!!!"

  • Sheesh... everybody wants to be "Steve Irwin". Ohh well... Its your camera. Do what makes ya happy.

  • dont worry thats not a spitting cobra but watch out most cobras do SPIT TOXINES and by the way thats not a baby cobra

  • Its probobly a Spitting Cobra, it doesn't spit as good yet or you could beat it with the stick if it did. So it was afraid

  • Quite A Beautiful And Cute Snake :3

  • why you played with sneck??

  • Thumbs up if you think the cobra needs to get run over.

  • take care dear..it is very dangerous..

  • 1:00 It started to follow your movements.

  • @dpedwards08 - lol - You're a dumbass - don't write anymore.

  • why cant u leave him alone ?

  • @Tjojojo leave me alone

  • He's a cute little thing, but deadly. :) I'm kind of jealous you get to see them so often.

  • @maarakailet1 not all that often - they're around... but not daily!

  • Hi im in Thailand right now but when my mom saw a Snake she just kill them ;( But i like snakes

  • @jin2612 Unfortunately that's the usual Thai response.

  • It looks absolutely beautiful!

  • OMG, it's cute! So little and tough!

  • It's cute

  • should of killed it

  • @Benjy120 wooow cold anmals only kill to survive nub

  • He's so cuteee. :D

  • Cobra venum is soo deadly that a gram of the fluid, if absorbed through the skin, will put a 200 pound man into a COMA!

  • I'll come poke you with a stick animal abuser

  • @Ranemus you should be ready for your spontaneous proctology exam then... just be ready skippy.

  • LOL that helmet looks funny. Monocled Cobras don't spit venom.

  • @dpedwards08 lol - it's from my motorbike. If you're facing a cobra in Thailand and about to lay down in front of him - you wouldn't want to do that without something protecting your eyes... How could I know it's monocled before seeing the monocle? Beavis...

  • Let's see the handler do that with a king cobra.

  • My opinion is that she should have been left alone; she didn't want to be there and was trying to get away. That is why she was defending herself. LOL

  • @tall32guy agreed. I was messing with it. I have a tendency to do that.

  • take it home....

  • you have no idea how many snake i came across in Thailand, its seems to like to cross the roads, most of them i saw were already a dead lil snake but i saw some cobra like 10 times bigger than that, i just try to avoid running over them.

  • I think I have a GOOD idea how many you come across in Thailand... I'm here too! If I go on country roads I'll see one every other day or so. Some days I see more than one. Those are GOOD days! May - June - July is when I really see them, babies and all - all the snakes are out running around at that time. Looking forward to it...

  • Amazing:) Could u tell me more about the exact location where you found this? I am in Thailand about 6months every year because my girlfriend lives there, so i been almost everywhere:)

  • These cobras are literally all over Thailand. I see more around housing areas that are close to the beach (within 1km) and especially at the foot of a hill and near freshwater as well - a stream, lake, puddle, river, etc. Tub Kaak and Ao Nang are great places to see Cobras - but, you might see one a month or so.

  • Thank you so much:) I've seen a couple of snakes, but no cobras yet.. It would be amazing if i ran into one :D hehe.. Thanks a lot for the info, and thanks for posting great videos :)

  • They are really aggresive ??? Come on you are prodding it with a big stick , the snake is clearly trying to get away . Quite a good video though .

  • "aggressive" wasn't the right word... they are lively. They are active compared to some of the vipers which are more like slugs - until, like LIGHTENING, they strike out for some unknown reason all the sudden... I've yet to find an aggressive snake... but the monocled cobras are great defenders of their space and can be active strikers too... aggressive wasn't the right word at all - but I wasn't thinking all that clearly here. lol.

  • @thaipulsedotcom.I have a lot of friends that live in pattaya. i'm thinking of moving back to thailand one day.thanks again for the video

  • it's somehow cute how it looks at you like "I'm having a bad day - leave me the fuck alone!" in the beginning. xD

But why did you even provoke a cobra? ;)

  • I'm interacting with nature so I can share it's beauty with the world my friend. This one was feisty, sometimes they are and sometimes they are quite mellow. This one has piss & vinegar for breakfast.

  • wow, i love cobras beautiful.

  • EAT IT EAT IT

  • lil snake like WTH havnt u seen da mummy king??? ill eat u r finger

  • It's so cuuuute, i would love to see a baby cobra!! this guy is lucky to find a little one. I would give everything to have a cobra!! I love them a lot more than a car!!! i like that little thing that they have in the neck!! and the little white thing in their back!!

  • never seen a "baby" cobra, looks vicious as the big ones

  • He's really cute - I think he knew you were playing!

  • @nantucketsailor1 I think you're right on that...

  • @nantucketsailor1 The way he was flaring up and lunging forward, I don't think that was the case at all. LOL Snakes are not that "conscious" and smart about that kind of thing. Like a lot of wild animals, most of what they do is live, eat, reproduce, and try to defend themselves against danger. So I think he was defending himself, not "playing". lol

  • cool

  • Fry it alive and after that eat it!

  • Eat it!

  • I'd rather play with the small ones then the adult sizes, scare the shit out of me.

  • It's true. The largest one are much more calm and sure of them selves. The teenagers especially are terribly nippy.

  • I love monocled cobras and King Cobras.

    Greezzz from Surin (Thailand)

  • the baby cobras are more deadly than the big ones cause they release ALL of there venom at once

  • 'They are very aggressive even when little' Well to be fair you are prodding it with stick.. I think I'd get aggressive if someone started prodding me with a stick.

  • widowmaker :D

  • Cool yet deadly

  • Awesome!

  • cute little cobra
