my friends and i were tripping balls when he started, about to see lotus. then suddenly everyone flocked to this show like zombies. it was crazy. it got way too insane really fast though haha. Then we went back to see lotus and couldnt even fucking hear them because this stage was way too close. twas a crazy night

@thefaseless1 I feel blessed to see a legend like Dieselboy. When I first got into electronic music(2001) the only people I knew who hated electronic music were rock purists and the like. All of us electronic fans were kinda like a team. Everyone I knew liked all the genres. These drum and bass and dubstep kids are ruining things with there elitist, metalhead mentallity towards other electronic music styles.

There's nothing wrong with an artist experimenting with different aspects of the genre, especially one as wide as electronic music. Who knows, Dieselboy could infuse it and spit out some wicked hybrid shit like The Glitch Mob is doing in LA.

I love both been listening 2 DnB for about 13 years & Dubstep for about 1. And I can def tell you that Dubstep is no replacement for DnB (Although I like hearing both in the same night). Anyone who thinks diff prob doesn't really understand or appreciate either genre. How can u replace the feeling u get from 180bpm with 70bpm? They share alot of the same sonic similarities but are so far from the same. As for D, he needs to understand that if someone sees his name on a flyer they expect DnB!

I didn't know he was DnB til after I looked him up after 'Roo.
i was disappointed for about as long as it took for the first bassline to drop. i was stage right, front of the 10 foot bassbin. that bass shook the little hair on my leg. after i got over the initial whats this it was a very good show, i however did have to leave the front after a girl and her boyfriend moved up and he was ass grinding in front of me.
there's nothing wrong with dubstep. these DnB hipsters do have a good reason to be disappointed though. I mean, if I see Diesel, I still expect drum and bass until he puts out an album with dubstep.

@benya0912 you didn't hear the people yellin fuck dubstep in the video. He could have played D&B at bonnaroo but didn't have balls. There was already a class dubstep act (bassnecter) at bonnaroo who had a much longer set time. Dieselboy was only givin an hour to play and the man should have played Drum and Bass. But instead he chose to pander to the trendy ass dubstep crap.

1. Bassnectar isn't dubstep, Bassnectar is just bass. I think you may be unclear on what the definition of dubstep is. Try Wikipedia.
2. Dubstep haters can burn out and fade away just like all the other jaded ravers. Lots of junglists hated DnB, lots of DnB heads hate dubstep. Either evolve with the times or stfu and gtfo, EDM has been about progression and evolution from Day 1. Change with time or stagnate and die.
