  • I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and I've owned a Solar Oven for one year. It is wonderful to use but the sun is too low from the beginning off November to the last week of January. However I was able to cook in it during the first week of Feb but I could only get up to 250 in temperature. During the summer months I can easily get to 375 - 400 in 15 to 20 minutes. I try to cook in it on a daily basis once the weather improves.

  • @TheOutdoorman40 Thanks for letting us know how the Solar Oven performs in Edmonton. On sunny days here in Phoenix I have been able to get mine up to at least 300 degree all winter. It is mid February now and with the return of the sun it has recently been hitting 350 degrees with ease. I guess it helps to live in "the Valley of the Sun."
