Dude, I can't even understand what the hell you're saying. Call of Duty World At War does NOT push anything in any way. It is just a copy attempt with a World War 2 skin that Treyarch put over Call of Duty 4. It was a really lazy port over to Wii, and they clearly didn't think too much about it when making it. So if you think it's better, then fine, be an idio tand don't buy The Conduit. Everyone else is sane.

The Conduit is "The X360 Classical FPS" on the Wii.

It has graphics and all that generic fell of the X360 shooters, but with decent controls and on a console where people care about it.

If you have played MP3 through you would know why we compare it to that. While it may not be a technical masterpeice I beleive in its finest moments (elysia, Pirate Homeworld) it looks far better than what we have seen of the Conduit. That footage of Metroid is from the worst part of the game.

The game doesn\t look that pretty but you will be impressed once you see how much they have put in there to make the worlds come to life(im talking about WaW here not The conduit).

if you pay attention the enviroment in the conduit is bland compared to how the enviromet on the metroid looks. the way I figure because the way the RAM was distribute the conduit did subjectively on the enemies, water, weapons etc.. while metroid pushed everything equally. As a result to say one looks better than the other is a matter of opinion and just for the record You guys should stop complaning both games are spectacular

to be fair, each of these games varies in style, so its hard to compare them.

for example, i would expect metroid to be a little washy, considering its a gloomy game seen through a visor

another main point to be made is there are different factors to be involved with the graphics...the conduit has the brightest, most neon-like style, thus appeals more in a side by side comparison

however, you wont ever see neon in a WWII game, such as call of duty

must say that the conduit looks the best tho

Heh, it's funny that one of the big selling points of The Conduit is that the graphics are supposed to be super amazing for the Wii. I think Metroid Prime 3 looks a hell of a lot better in pretty much every way, plus it runs at 60fps rather than 30. Umbrella Chronicles environments and art style also look a lot better than The Conduit, even if it isn't as technically impressive.

As for Far Cry, is it running on the Goldeneye engine from the Nintendo 64? That's sure is what it looks like.

This is a good video overall but honestly... It should have mainly been Metroid Prime 3: Corruption against The Conduit as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is possibly the best looking Wii game besides Super Mario Galaxy.

Of all the FPS on the Wii the Conduit sure has the most powerful graphics engine. That's for sure.

The art direction of Metroid Prime 3 is still way better, though. (Well, Retro Studios had Andrew "android" Jones working for them. That explains everything.)

HVS never even tried to come close to that. Eric Nofsinger himself said That'd be like saying you're better than Jesus.

I still think the Conduit will be an incredible gaming experience and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
