  • I used to weld for Selkirk stainless steel pipes. When welding a 135 degree elbow, as you welded you needed to continuously adjust your electrode length because the joint continued to narrow. I can see an application for this product. Have you approached any welder manufacturers i.e Miller, Migatronic, Essab etc. You did send me one of these ages ago, but it did not fit the tourche I had. I still weld for a living, but not production work. Did any Bicycle manufacturers buy any? Good luck

  • Can anyone translate RoyDim98s comment, i don't know if its good or bad?

  • QUE BUENO ESOS CURSOS SOY DE COLOMBIA 3105967180

  • Hi, great idea, saves time and simple to use , but it will be copied, I hope you get some sort of royalty for your invention.

  • @DaveAI

Glad you like it. Things that get copied tend to be things that are selling well. So i hope it does get copied at some time in the future.

  • ive got the tungstenejector now its very very good very easy to use and robust change ur tungstens in super qwick time and great for stick out adjustment for getting in those T joints EVERY TIG WELDER SHOULD GET 1

  • excellent video and demonstration.... one obvious tip.... sound is always a great, either some speech, or just some calm music to entertain the ears, other than that i will remember this next year when i get my welding rig.

  • I want one lol. That's freaken cool.

  • This is the tool of the future saves lots and lots of hassle

  • Hey! I tried the web site and ebay but nothing how can I get the easy cap?

  • I like it...what a great idea! where do we purchase?

  • I first saw the Tungsten Ejector as a prototype in 2002 and thought then What a great Idea.

I am now using it on a daily basis running root runs on a 20" Oxygen line for Murphy pipelines,The Tungsten Ejector is helping me to achieve maxium production of high quality welds.I would recommend the Tungsten Ejector to all welders.

  • tried to find this on ebay and no luck can you help. nitrofish74

  • you could try ukwelders website let me know how you get on

  • Received ejector last week. Put it straight to work in Tig Pipe production workshop. Greatest little tool ever. Does everything it says on the box. Every welder should have one. Highly recommended

  • I was working in Wytchfarm at BP oil and gas installation. First time to use the Tungsten ejector, makes Tig welding so much easier. 1. Ease of adjustment of the tungsten. 2. The replacement of tungsten goes back into the same depth. 3 The ease with which the Tungsten ejects.4 Safety- no more tungsten burns on your fingertips. This is by far the best invention for tig welding in the last 25 years.

  • I'm a welder and live on wytch farm - I watched you boys working with Jones construction laying in that new pipeline - nice job lads!

Tig root/hotpass - fluxcore fill and cap?

    Hugh

  • Nice -alot easier than manually adjusting---ps easy way to clean inside of ceramic cup is with Dremel and the orange grinder stone-small enough to clean inside of cup.

  • Cool product! I'll check ya out!

  • I saw the video and knew I had to have one of these Tungston Ejectors. I tried to find one at my local welding supply, but its ONLY available through Ebay as stated. But since I have recieved mine, I dont know how I got along without it. It makes My job easier and more productive. I love this thing. Every tig weldor should own one of these. Thanks alot Owner-Bright Light Welding

  • i keep a pair of plyers near by.. but this would be an awesome investment! definately looks like something everyone will want! or anyone who has ever done production welding with tig..

  • Thank you, and yes it is way better than a pair of pliers. Are you in the USA if so i was wondering what price you think it would sell for over there?

  • @tungstenejector

Hmmm.. in the states? Possibly... 10 -15 dollars

I know I'd use it gladly.

My only hesitation to purchase: Durability.

It has multiple parts where a regular cap and collet system only has one moving part. I've seen many an end cap stand up to heavy abuse. But they are solid plastic and copper.

If you are willing to send one out here, I'll do a detailed review for you, as well as bring it to the local tech school to get others opinion.

  • So what size torch does it fit?

  • 17,18,26 like it says in the description and the website, it hasn't been developed for the smaller torches yet but hopefully it will.

  • I'm not on the pipes, I do work in a small fab shop and use the wp20 on both my sets. I don't really fancy changing. I'd be really interested in one when it became available though. If I need to move up a torch for larger jobs, I'll get an ejector.

  • Ill let you know when they are available, its nice to know that you and other people out there like the look of it.

  • Can I get one of these for a wp20 style torch? This would make my life sooooo much easier!

    Cheers

  • Sorry mate I only have the one size at present but as time goes by and I get more money in the pot I intend to develope it for the smaller torches. I take it the larger torch would be no good for you?

  • those guys pipelinen in alaska would love this
