  • this movies is great army

  • This really is a great film.

  • Amazing movie, just ignore the trailer and go watch it.

  • still my favorite war movie to this day, sure its low budget and the sound effects aren't the greatest, but this is an outstanding movie. don't judge the movie by the trailer, i highly recommend watching it

  • This trailer makes me want to skip this movie period

  • Comment removed

  • The movie was great, but this trailer is terrible.

  • This movie is deep and powerful. HIGHLY recommended. As for comparing it with Band Of Brothers, that's like comparing sunset with fire.

I don't think this trailer does the movie any credit. AMAZING MOVIE.

  • an excellent film, cant believe it is not recognized for the film that it is. highly recomended.

  • This looks like a college film project...shot with a toaster.

  • Expecting better. This looks like shit

  • My god can u make it anymore american?

  • looks fucking stupid. It might have had potential but they had to go and make it a retarded love story like pearl harbor. Plus it looks fake and poorly produced. Band of Brothers did it right and this movie is a poor attempt to re do what they already have done.

  • i love this film, but i dont like trailer

  • Ending is so sad, but what a crap trailer

  • oh, nazis. idiots.

  • im so sorry for my country.... always belgium :( the battlefield of europe xD

  • @abdg32esd23 natanyahu said it right and you know in your heart this is true. if the arabs laid down their arms today there would be no more war. if israel laid down its arms today their would be no more israel. they seek the anhialation of the jews in their midst as the nazis did. the jews just want to be left alone. its just that this time the jews have the audacity to fight back and not be led to slaughter a second time that makes the world so outraged.

  • @abdg32esd23 no one has anything to say when the fogel family, mother father and 3 kids, aged 9,3, and 2 MONTHS are slaughtered in their beds, even the baby's throat slit ear to ear to be found by their 12 year old daughter, while the palestinians call the killers heros and pass out candy in the streets. because they are jews and their blood is cheap, but heaven forbid the idf go house to house to find the murderers and they are evil aggressors.

  • @abdg32esd23 if they wanted to exterminate the arabsa they'd already be dust. there have been rockets lobbs into residential neighborhoods in israel every day for 3 years but as long as its jews being killed no one speaks up against it. now israel finally is making plans to go into gaza and put a stop to it and NOW its news.

  • @Oesterreich1leiwand the german soldiers certainly won't be forgotten by the jewish citizens they went door to door rounding up for death

  • Trailer = Crap

Movie = Better than 'Enemy at the Gates' and 'The Great Raid'.

  • This is a great movie! but a really generic trailer

  • Movies better than the trailer. The acting is worth a million dollars thats why its on a small budget.

  • i know the most of them are just like you and me but in a diffrent uniform"

  • allied soldiers probably killed the same amount of german pows, but who cares about that, when you win the war?

  • @therealbamlee It happened, I recall an incident in Sicily, but in the Allied case, these events weren't set out as orders from high ranking officers. I agree that POW murders by the Allies are under-reported, but let's be honest, they just weren't as bad about it as the Axis countries. It's still never been fully determined how many Russian POWs were killed.

  • @trum4n6969 i was not trying to make to holocaust look less bad, because nothing comes close to it. but I dont know if wehrmacht warcrimes (against allied soldiers) have been ordered by high officers. But I do know that people like general patton and so on gave orders to not take prisoners in the normandy. besides that I think that wehrmacht war crimes against allied soldiers and the other way are quite balanced. im not talking about the slaughter of jews here.

  • @trum4n6969 and I wanted to express that I find it weird that in movies always the germans are the bad ones, the ones comitting crimes. there's no movie about alled war crimes that I know of. the problem is that not everybody has the historical knowledge like you or me and so they "learn" history from movies like this and draw the wrong conclusions thats all. take care

  • @therealbamlee I do agree with that, I'd actually like to see more from the German side. Nothing like "Rah rah Nazism," but something that shows events from that other perspective. And I understand, but I'm not talking about the Holocaust. I'm referring to anything where someone higher than a Captain outright ordered the execution of a group of POWs. In terms of numbers, it occurred more commonly with the Germans (mainly Waffen SS though). Not saying the Allies were perfect. Cheers my good man.

  • Year?

  • 1channel.ch full movie here

  • I love how it says based on real events. ITS A WW2 MOVIE, OF COURSE ITS BASED ON REAL FRICKIN EVENTS!

  • @BINGFRYSRDUN Specific events. Like Band of Brothers, and how that show portrayed the real events experienced by the real Easy Company. They aren't just making up a war story and setting it in WWII.

  • beautiful and cool movie, i want to see it, but i not good undestand english...

  • I dont belive the budget is under a million...

    because the movie is INCREDIBLY

  • Comment removed

  • For it's budget it's brilliant.

  • I have never watched this movie, my friend said it was good but it looks kinda old! but if I get over 10 thumbs up i will watch it! ;)

  • just another american bullshit...

  • the picture carried by one of the soldiers in this film is the picture of his grandmother that his grandfather carried through the same time

  • Whoever bashes this movie or doesn't give it enough credit can go to hell!

  • @BigTex8, it's just more american hebewood crap.

    Oy Vey!!

  • @BigTex8

Such a great film! Probably my favorite...

  • This must have been the very best movie that have been done in centuries. Not just cause it is so historically correct, it is a very touching movie. I Never get touched so much of movies, but this one really did, many powerfull scenes that can make you cry even if you are a tough person. Especially the scene were they are at the little house and they just met the french lady with her daughter, that scene where the little girl comes and asks deacon to bend down so she can give him a kiss.

  • "Why do you like the Krauts so much?"

"Cause I know 'em. I know most of 'em are just like you and me, just wear a different uniforms."

That is the most powerful quote I have ever heard from a World War 2 movie, I nearly teared up!

  • @Yesnog05 i know, most WWII movies say stuff the opposite of that

  • @Warguy1945.....I second your list.

  • 1 Saving Private Ryan

    2 Band of Brothers

    3 Saints and Soldiers

  • @warguy1945

Band of Brothers is much better than Saving Private Ryan imo

  • @Paskaaja band of brothers is good but its a mini sieries im talking movie wise

  • I really liked this movie! It is sad, but what war movie isn't? Great story!!

  • I've got this. Malmedy's infamous.

  • Not meaning to add fuel to the raging fire of argument going on but it is little known that the Soviets had invaluable intelligence from British traitors. Members of the "Cambridge 5" were feeding deciphered Enigma data direct to Stalin evn before Churchill had read these intercepts. This information allowed the Reds to defeat the Germans at Kursk, a pivotal battle that helped turn the tide of the war. Without this help Stalin would have fled to the East and the Soviets would likely have lost.

''SAVING MY PRIVATES" (2011 - tom hanks)

a MUST see video. you need a good stomach - added yesterday

  • The biggest role of defeating Hitler was not the USA but Russia offcorse!!! every body knows thet very well..every thing turned on when Hitler attack Russia the battles of Moscow,Staljingrad and Kyrsk and many more ....in 1942 all of Europe was under the Germans,America was not in the war ,England was prepared for peace negotiations with hitler and Rommel was taken on all of north Africa!!!!!!

  • @amirturist

yeah im sure hitler would have agreed to a cease fire and put a pause to his dream of conquering the world.....yeahhhh >.>

  • @amirturist God forbid that the Russians had any help... like all the supplies we provided them with Lend Lease. Lest we forget the massive air campaign provided by the Mighty Eighth, virtually disabling Germany's war fighting and production capabilities. Nooooooo! Russia did it all. Hell, who gives a crap about June 6th, and the fact that a second front was opened up in the west. It was all the Russians.

You sir, have no clue what you are saying.

  • @valkyrie321 sorry dude!!i didnt say thet Americans didnt have any role in 2ww its not my point, every body knows thet the Russians had big help from America and they supplied them with Food, weapons, medics and many many more,!!!still where was America in 1942?Where was England in 1942?Where was France in 1942 ?who was the master of the world in 1942 ?? were the allies defeated in 1942? how many soldiers did Germany lose before invading Russia?please answer?and thanks

  • @valkyrie321 i will ask you final question and very importent one...

if hitler didnt attacked Russia could the allies defeat germany?

but before answering this question i will give you some facts...

1-4 000 000 germans fully equipet with all weapons available all panzer divisions in Europe waitting the allies in Europe ,not like in 1944 June the 6 with only one Panzer division ,300,000 soldiers (mostly kids with out any experience)

  • @amirturist let me ask you this in return. Without the aid of the allies, would Russia have won? I don't think so. I'm more than familiar with the facts Amirturist. Comparing statistics is the equivalent of having a pissing contest however.

Let us also not forget that when Russia finally turned the tide of the German advance, they also raped every woman and killed millions.

Without the allied air power, Germany quite likely would have fueled their tanks across Russia indefinitely.

  • @valkyrie321 Why are you not answering my questions??if we are discussing about importent history facts ...why are you avoiding them..???

  • @amirturist because I have a job. I am however finding this conversation rather borish. I do find it interesting that your grammar, punctuation and spelling suddenly become better when you are explaining your point of view, which leads me to believe you are copying and pasting it. Anyways, I digress. Your comment, which I pointed out earlier, was lacking.

"The biggest role of defeating Hitler was not the USA but Russia offcorse!!! every body knows thet very well"

    Stupid statement.

  • @valkyrie321You have a problem in your head thet is my final conclusion ,and becouse you are talking the same think every time !! if you have a job why are you having any conversation,go find a life ....by the way your statements are very stupid!! the last think i wrote to you are from history books so i try to explain it you better but it looks thet you cant understand nothing like 90% of stupid average Americans ,who dosnt know their own history ,nothing new its too sad !!

  • @valkyrie321

in the end if you want to insult somebody and its the only way to prove some point ,dont discuss with him becouse obviously you dont know history(history is not hoolywood like you Americans know) ,and in the end you will be an idiot ,so my advice to you better go and work may be you are better in the field !!!! ;-)

  • @valkyrie321 British forces were close to defeat everywhere in 1942. The American economy was a peacetime economy, apparently unprepared for the colossal demands of total war.Soviet resistance was in some ways the most surprising outcome. The German attackers believed that Soviet Communism was a corrupt and primitive system that would collapse, in Goebbels' words 'like a pack of cards'.This situation seemed beyond remedy.

  • @valkyrie321 within a year Soviet factories were out-producing their richly-endowed German counterparts - the Red Army had embarked on a thorough transformation of the technical and organisational base of Soviet forces, and a stiffening of morale, from Stalin downwards, produced the first serious reverse for the German armed forces when Operation Uranus in November 1942 led to the encirclement of Stalingrad and the loss of the German Sixth Army.

  • @valkyrie321 The air and tank armies were reorganised to mimic the German Panzer divisions and air fleets; communication and intelligence were vastly improved (helped by a huge supply of American and British telephone equipment and cable); training for officers and men was designed to encourage greater initiative; and the technology available was hastily modernised to match German

  • @valkyrie321 Two other changes proved vital to allow the army to profit from the reform of operational practice. First, Soviet industry and workforce proved remarkable adaptable for a command economy long regarded as inherently inefficient and inflexible.

  • @valkyrie321 The pre-war experience of economic planning and mobilisation helped the regime to run a war economy on an emergency basis, while the vast exodus of workers (an estimated 16 million) and factories (more than 2,500 major plants) from in front of the advancing Germans allowed the USSR to reconstruct its armaments economy in central and eastern Russia with great rapidity.

  • @amirturist that's nice.

  • Without America aid, Russia wouldn't have stood a chance against Germany. The only advantage that Russia had was their climate, but Germany would still have defeated Russia if it wasn't for the U.S.

  • Movie aint shit compared to braveheart

  • This movie makes me cry like a baby. It's astounding... take good actors, a good story line, and a lot of heart.... you don't need millions of dollars to make an amazing movie.

  • I live 10 km away from Malmedy, Belgium. :)

  • I watched the movie a while ago on hulu and the british bloke pissed me off. I dont care if the movie was low budget i didnt find it to be all that impressive. Not like effects wise, but the characters werent that good. I didnt like the christian dude.

  • @MrAndreyNikolaevich ok you atheist shit have fun suffering in hell

  • @Daironsmith same old christian lover bullshit. i get it, if i dont believe in god i am going to hell. you would know that because YOU specifically know exactly what happens when we die.

  • Why does everyone have to mention that this is a low budget film;yes it is, however why can't it just be a great film period. Not the best low budget film blah blah blah.

  • this is the best low budget war film i've seen.

  • This is 1 of few movies I find that admits that both sides are just normal soldiers simply with different backgrounds, FINALY, no more of that boring "kill the bad guy hip hip hurray" bullshit, historically accurate or not, atleast they finaly admit this truth.

  • its ass!

  • i like this trailer but it has a shit voice over guy

  • Bullshit movie. The massacre wasn't like it is depicted here.

The advance was that quick that the first wave couldn't take them prisoner so they send them backwards.

The next line was a hitlerjugend division. By that time of the war a young and too soon pressed into combat unit. They saw american GI's and opened fire. Not notising nor realizing that this could be POW's. The communication between the first couple of waves was wrecked by the American's at the moment. Just an accident. A hard one.

  • @tankeriv Why are you talking like you were actually there. You think you read some history books and now you

know all the war shit.No one gives a shit how it actually happened.Maybe you're one of those idiots who believe everything that is said in the movies.

  • hahaha noobs american

  • this is like medal of honor or call of duty old versions

  • not a good movie overall, still very biased. only true events is the shooting the prisoners, and the hiding under the small house when Germans were eating scene, but what the hell are they thinking when they make scenes with a German raping a French women, and having only a few Americans killing dozens of Germans, and a random British guy with secret documents of piss and shit. too fictional too be true.

  • @sharkie541 You realize that "too fictional to be true" doesn't mean a fucking thing, right?

  • @spacefaget eheheheh, was hoping someone wouldnt comment on that, what i mean was, it has the same propaganda shit, even though its based on a true story their was soooo many crap in there. Only one scene was based on a real event, but everything else was just unrealistic crap. Don't expect me to write a full well written paragraph in under 500 words spacefaget

  • @sharkie541 All movies are "biased". A cartoon movie about a Bug's Life was biased towards bugs...Monsters Inc. was biased towards monsters. Alien was biased, Predator was biased. A movie is supposed to be "biased". You wouldn't go to watch a movie called The Terminator to find out that it's about cute cuddly cats and dogs licking eachother and cuddling...it's a movie man.

  • @The79Machine well they are not based on a true story, and they never claimed to be, otherwise i would not know what kind of messed up world we live in. this movie said its based on a true story but the whole entire thing is false. also its a war movie, based on a real event and a real war, talking about real people, not those fictional charecters you mentioned, there's a difference. i hoped for an experience watching this due to hype but its just another stupid Hollywood propaganda.

  • @sharkie541 The "massacre" took place, everything else was just for entertainment. It's actually not a "Hollywood" movie either. It was produced by mormons with only a million dollar budget. It's all in

the "making of the film" part of the DVD.

  • Okay. the trailers looks like shit. but i sure you the full movie is

the best an Really good story and everything i just said OMG with big goggles O_O

when i saw the friggin good movie ..

  • rip to all those who died in the world wars

  • amazing war movie but you WILL cry it is a very sad movie

  • @THExGAMERX i have not seen it but i almost cried at this triler

  • @THExGAMERX i cryed a little bit :D

  • nice movie

  • the trailer isnt all that great. BUT! the movie was AWESOME!

  • this is one of the most awsome movies i ever have seen!! i loved it and still do

  • Just finished watching this and tears are still falling. What a great and very very sad movie. Seriously the saddest movie I have ever seen.

  • Comment removed

  • Just saw it now and I must say that this is actually one of the best warmovies I have ever seen. Finally a movie without those overcocky americans, and finally a movie which pictures the germans alot. Also the acting is imo excellent, small stuff like conversations, body language and reactions just make it very credible. It amazed me, SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER......................................................... that so many of the main guys d,ieD, finally no happy ending:) SEE IT!

  • they just had to ruin the trailer by narrating it with that guy's retarded voice.

  • @TheRapper10000. The 101st was stationed about 5 miles northeast of malmady outside of bastonge.

  • WOW dis was a great movie but super sad

  • @inadevilgirl most WWII movies and shows are

  • love this movie, probably the best war movie made with a budget under a million dollars. very well done

  • A very good movie. Well acted and heartfelt story and dispite less than a million dollar budger there was a fair amount of action. This should have had a wider theatrical release.

  • It says this movie is based on actual events and it's something about Medal of Honor, so can someone tell me who's that recipient?

  • One of the best WW2 movies i've ever seen

  • Great movie. :)

  • Wieviel sind da gestorben? 45 Mann? ... als ob die amerikaner nicht auch ständig Gefangene erschossen hätte... (was das massaker natürlich trotzdem nicht besser macht)

  • Downloading it now. The trailer looked pretty cool =)

  • I know that this film is yet we survived the Bulge

  • Comment removed

  • Absolutely amazing film!

I really enjoied it but it was sad when will was giving him a smoke as he was dying, it just shows true honou and loyalty.

And some of you may know what I mean b saying deakin Is like zzirGrizz.

  • what is the music at 1:26 to 2:09 ? Please i really need this !!

  • The 101st Airborne was nowhere near that place at the time the Malmedy massacre took place.

  • @TheRapper10000 is it the 101st? i never heard them mention their name lol

  • @funnyz2k I read it on Wikipedia.

  • or the 86th

  • @funnyz2k I noticed thier Unit Name.

  • Greatest movie ever! But the ending is so frikin sad!

  • the germans killed prisoners they are humans they have must seen thousands of their friends killed bye the americans( when the americans arived in germany they did the same )

  • Is there any truth to the story in this movie? I mean the main story.

  • @Jester2K11 yes, like when they were under the floor when the germans were having dinner, that was real, and the massacre also happened

  • @gtaisawesome87 Yeah I remember reading that in Seven Roads The Hell. The massacre I mean.

  • God Bless you Jochen ! True European whom fought for a Jew free anti-left-marxist-communist White Christian Europe !

He was killed while sleeping in his house by a jew marxist.

MEINE EHRE HEISST TREUE BIS IN DEN TOD !

    R.I.P from BELGIEN !

  • Dude this one of the best movies ever made.

  • I love when they went to rescue the British Paratrooper and he was asking Dean questions came my favorite quote

British Paratrooper " What's the capital of Vermont

    American's Uhhhhh Ummmmm Ehhhhhhhhhhh

    British Paratrooper "ANswer me now

Dean "Alright Nobody cares about God damn Vermont okay

  • it's great!

  • Best WWII movie ever, it captures the human aspect of war so well, and it was made on a budget of less then 1 million.

  • i love this movie......its sad at the end though

  • the sgt. looks like roger clemens

  • @espakor.....lol point proven. I know plenty about history cheers mate, but this is YouTube not a historic forum. I suggest you go on one of them and enlighten everyone with you knowledge there and leave peoplewho knowing to use YouTube leave the comments. Now....shoo, be gone pest.

  • @Menacinglake haha no i was just answering a question. just trying to wake up people, thats all.

  • It´s a film like:

America: We are so cool and generous!

Germany: I am so evil please fight me, brave hero!

  • @RichardSchwan

    America: Save everyone from dictatorship/communism/NO-HUMAN-RIGHTS-WHAT-SO-EVER/rapists.

NAZI Germany (note: NAZI): will conquer the entire world before A. Hitler.

if part of your ancestor was a Jew, you'd understand; apparently you're not.

  • @espakor

Whould you believe me that my ancestors had no fun with the Nazis that time?

This film is showing an opinion, not the reality, I believe in.

  • @RichardSchwan i wasn't talking about the film... just correcting someone's ignorance.

  • @RichardSchwan This is based on a true story. It shows that people can be brothers across nationalities and even during times of war. When people cease to see our difference and see each other as brothers, then wars will stop.

  • @espakor A huge amount of troops in the Wehrmacht (German standard army) were not even national socialists (Nazies). About 80-85% were not having ANY relation with the "National Socialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" and mainly none of them ever knew the Holocaust was taking place, it was the Waffen SS who prosecuted the Holocaust.

  • Don't miss freesat UK's exclusive Men & Movies war film season this weekend. Tune in tomorrow night at 9pm for our pic 'Saints & Soldiers'.

  • You guys need to chill out! Does it really matter what happened in the past?

I just came on here to check the film out and ONCE AGAIN youtube gets a bunch of morons arguing on something that they cant change or influence!!!

Is the film any good? Shall I get it?

  • @Menacinglake I recommend getting it. It's a fantastic movie. One of my favorites.

  • @Menacinglake Yes, history matters on what and how we make our decisions. WE ALSO LEARN A GREAT DEAL OF INTELLIGENCE FROM OUR PAST. We remember what so-called Crusadors did(rape/murder/slavery, etc); We remember what Jihad Terrorists did back in 9/11 AND we remember the Mumbai Massacre, etc etc. History creates culture and perception. Without learning from our mistakes, the 2nd 9/11 will occur and 2nd or 3rd or 4rd Adolf Hitler will arise. Go & question your history professor for detail.

  • @espakor your history is a little bit incorrect, bush and the cia caused 911

  • @BALJIT147 I have old friend in National Security who have TS-B; they have declassified TS or S info that LEOs can obtain. According to that, the Bush admin. and CIA did not cause 9/11, but simply didn't share enough info with the FBI and the Local Law Enforcement Agencies; therefore, when some terrorists were detained, the LEOs did not know they were planning the attack. Now, don't give me your controversy BS you got from some anti-gov't group and try to say my info is false. Enough said.

  • @espakor I heard it was the NSA that didnt share enough information with the FBI

  • @BALJIT147 First of all, its PRESIDENT Bush.

Secondly, If you want to point fingers you have to blame President Clinton who did nothing but slap the wrist of the terrorist when they attacked a United States Naval Vessel.

You know, some of you people have your head to far up the anal cavity.

  • @EthicsCommission you americans think your so smart, and you think your presidents deserve to have their names capitalized

  • @BALJIT147 Its not only common courtesy to but common sense to address a person of statute by their title or rank. I'm not sure where you're from but judging by your previous posts you seem to lack courtesy and manners. You also have a view of facts that are obviously what YOU want the facts to be.

Blaming President Bush is easy for you but the facts show otherwise.

  • @BALJIT147 fuck you ass hole

  • this was a good movie i watched it on netflix on my xbox

  • @MATTtheKITTEN thats why im watching the trailer ... lol

  • this film is again JEW propaganda film,so germans EVILS,so americans HEROES and 8 american soldier defeadet the GERMAN ARMY! LOSER FILMS!
