I am a very knew MG fan. For some reason when growing up I missed the whole MG series. Now that the HD collection game out I am addicted and have become a huge fan. I went and got MGS1 on PSN, and MGS4 so my collection is complete. MGS has become my favorite series ever. Before this the Uncharted Series held the stop, but it has since been surpassed. What truly amazing is how the older MGS game hold up, with the updated visuals, each game could of sold for $60 on it's own today and still be bet

after seeing this i've started to replay MGS4 it's games like these that I adore more than those Call Of Duty, Fifa, YEARLY games. They expect us to pay £45 for the next CoD, Fifa, Pro Evo when they're all pretty much the same? Screw you I say. Save your money for epic games like this. Games that actually take years to make, and perfect.

@zrifepsych It's what game engines do, not does. Have you heard of Blender, it's an engine, you can design 3D models in it, but it does not compile entire 3D scenes. A game engine is a huge program, it compiles a lot of things you see in games, texture, color, physics, sound, environment, 3D models, lighting, etc. The list is huge. Google it, though, it's interesting.

@AchwaqKhalid Nope. If you understood what the engine is, and what it does, you would understand that it's not supposed to amaze, it's suppose to make it easier to port a game to different platforms. What is amazing isn't the engine, but the work done by artists, 3D designers, texture painters, you also have people drawing scenes, and different characters, an engine is just an engine, but itself it means nothing, but inside a body it suddenly means something.

@AchwaqKhalid meh as long as you can distinguish things it will be great , metal gear solid 1 if you look at it now it sucks at graphics but still has that feel and atmosphere to it , thats more important in a game not the 8000 resolution mega textures or the realtime dx 11 shadows , tesselation , i like mgs 1 2 and 3 graphics to alot more than newer games not because of the graphics .

mac's terrible for art design. Mac only supports mac file formats, which are inferior. Also, you can't troubleshoot very well on a mac, making macs a big pain in the ass! I don't know where this big myth about macs being great for art and design came from, but mac computers are cursed.
